I'm looking to do an install of the SkyFi Delphi XM Radio unit in my manual shift 330Ci. Bellow are the parts I plan to purchase to do the install...
XM Radio Delphi SkyFi w/ Car Kit (160)
BMW Flashlight Power Adaptor (10)
BMW Auxilary Input Jack (30)
Pro-Fit Mounting Bracket (30)
RCA Y-cable (2)
Basically I was planning on running the included cigarette lighter adaptor that comes with the Car Kit from the base to the now switched outlet (new for 04 coupes) that'll be available when I put the Power Adaptor into the flashlight plug. Then I will run the RCA cables out of the Car Dock and into the Aux-In that I will have installed by my dealership in the glove compartment. Then I will use the Pro-fit mounting bracket to get his mounted to the right of my radio by my trim. The install isn't as clean as it could be as I will definitely have some wires in the glove compartment but at least they won't be outside and around the car. The total install would cost about $250 installed, done and done. Let me know if I'm missing anything here! I know that the RCA's just come right outta the base and then it'll be a Y- into a mini-plug to then go into the aux input wired to my factory head unit.
Thanks in advance!!
