Ok... i know this is a repost so sorry to the administrators. I promise i won't make a habit of this. So I now have my Pac swix system working.. problem is that now my airbag light comes on. I checked to make sure I didn't disconnect any wires on the steering column... they're all in. The first time I started my car, I did forget to plug the plug back into the steering wheel. I plugged it back in, eventually. I was thinking maybe it was stored in the computer's memory so I disconnected the battery for 5 min and plugged it back in and the light still comes on. This happen to anyone else? Please help.

Yup, happened to me about 3 days ago. At the time I wasn't thinking, but I think that harness has the airbag wire in it and I disconnected it without disconnecting the battery. If you do that, there is nothing you can do to get it to go off besides go to the dealer and have them reset it. I'm gonna wait another week or so until I have my oil change service to ask them to reset mine.

If you forget to reconnect any airbag harness and reconnect the battery you will trigger a airbag fualt. While not a big deal the only way to get rid of the fault code is to vist the dealer or you can try an airbag reset tool from Peake Research.

hmmm...weird... my pac swix has some bugs in it... this is rare, but sometimes it changes tracks by itself... and also it doesn't work during daytime
My pac sends out a signal 3 times everytime I turn my car on. its kinda annoying because its the button that changes the cd in my changer. I've just been living with it.
bimmer88: you might want to try relocating your electronic eye if its giving you trouble during the daytime.
