Glove Compartment problem after audio install, help!

I just got my amp and component speakers installed by a shop, however, now when I open my glove compartment, it does not come down slowly, instead it just drops right down... I am going back next week to get it fixed, however, does anyone know what did they do to cause this? broken part? or just forgot to hook up something? I would like to find out as much as possible before I go in...

Please help, any input is appreciated!

there is a strap on each side of the glovebox that dampens the drop. They forgot to put them back on I'd bet. They just go over 2 small posts. It will take you 2 seconds to fix, if that's the issue.
