I've installed a CATZ kit , 4300K kit H7 conversion. But lights look a lot yellowish.
Biggest problem is that at random, the instrument cluster makes noise when switching on the lights and the needles go to "zero".
I've put the red wire to the factory harness and the black wire to the screw that holds the black bar (on which lights are mounted).
I've swapped the fuse 9 (5A) for a 15A fuse. When this happens, my seatbelt warning lights stays on.
Also when I'm driving and I put on the lights, the needles in the cluster seem to turn of for 1 second....

Anybody had the same experience? Could it be caused by not using harness negative as a ground?

Any help is appreciated.

The yellowness of the lights is probrably cause by the lack of a projector or perhaps it's just in the nature of Catz HID but I highly doubt it. Sounds like you have some sever electrical problems going on too. Hope that helps.

I'm going to put the ground on the factory harness and see what happens, maybe I'll try swapping fuses too. I already swapped the 5A #9 for a 15A , but going to try a 20A there.... maybe it helps

Tommy, your Catz are 4500K.

And they are in need of better grounding.

Email me:eeps: :D :tsk:

I'll email you tonight when I get home, really weird problem. Possibly the grouding isn't enough causing the system to find another ground close to it, which is the lighting and component s of the instrument cluster.

ps, lense shows a bit of purple at some angles, reflection from buildings etc at some angles look like over bright "french" lights ;)

Being "french" isn't always a good thing;)

4300k bulbs usually start yellow-ish, after running for X number of hours they'll be whiter/blue from what I've seen...

When I got my bulb/balast replaced at BMW one side was initially whiteish/yellow. The tech told me it'd eventually change to the same color as the other one over 100 hours of run time. Less than 100 hours have passed and they're the same color now

Jesus - tell me you are kidding? You are going to start swapping incorrect fuses in there? Fuses exist for a reason. I predict your next thread will read something like this:

"Help Pls - car on fire and wiring melted"

anyone with any help about the instrument cluster issue? it still zeros out all the dials sometime and make a horrendous buzzing noise.
