Does anybody have any experiences with Infinity Basslink subwoofer? I just bought mine a few days ago on ebay new($200).
I'm having a problem mounting it to stand vertically on the left side of my trunk. Does anbody have any pics? mounting tips?
Compared to other self powered subwoofers, did i make a right choice?

I'm also thinking about getting a basslink. How easy are they to install? Can anyone help me out who installed one before? Oh beefy, did you figure out how to get it to mount vertically?

I mounted my Infinity Basslink vertically on the right side. It is wedged into the side panel with the help of a rubber bungee cord.
Installation is not bad with the help of some tap connectors. I think you can find a wiring diagram at www.projectbimmer.com.
If you pull down your seat, you'll get more bass, but i dont know if you would want to drive around with the rear seat down.
All in all, it Sounds great! but you're gonna have to tweak with the controls a bit. Everyone, including me says this sounds waay better than Bazookas! I'd go for the Infinity Basslink over Stealthboxes anytime! I'll try to post some pics soon.

Good question, I'd also be very interested in knowing that answer...

I have a Kenwood 10" powered sub in my trunk (right side). I can hear it just fine with the seats up. I love this sub because it almost seems that it simulates really deep bass without the rattling that comes with it. Inside the car, the bass seems very deep, and when you have it really turned up, you feel like people can hear you from miles away. But if you step out of the car and close the door, you can barely hear anything.
I would highly recommend a powered subwoofer. They are easy to install, can be removed in a sec if you need the additional space, and the bass sounds great!!
My sub is about 5-6 years old. It still sounds like the day i bought it. My only complaint is that alot of the newer powered subs (like the basslink) are alot smaller.

I had a dual 8" box in my trunk that I just took out not too long ago...
It was loud and all, but it weighed somewhere in the neighborhood of ~150 lbs, if not more...
It totally messed up the way the car drove, and I couldnt believe the difference when I took it out...

Like the guy above said...the bass is great inside but not too loud outside. To notice a major difference in bass, you have to knock out the ski pass. I did and it sounded awesome.
You'll prolly want to buy some 2way coaxial speakers also. The basslink is too overpowering for the stock speakers.
