View Full Version : Hm2s for M3 for Sale!!!
ssutisna
09-28-2003, 10:11 PM
I have a set Hamann HM2s for sale. They measure 19x8.5 fronts and 19x10 rears. They are about 2 months old with about 700 miles on it. I have not been driving my car alot lately as I just got back from the holidays and the car has not been used for almost a month over the summer. The rims are in perfect condition with no curb rashes whatsoever. Reason for selling is because they don't clear BBK. I bought them brand new for $2400. Any reasonable offers will be considered. If anyone is interested, they can PM me or email me at ssutisna@comcast.net

ssutisna is there any way I can put the rims on a 325ci I heard if you use lower profile tires I can put the tens in the rear or roll out my fenders or something, unless the offset is different on an M3 cause some other guy was selling the same rims and he had them on a 330ci, unless Hamann makes different offsets for the HM2s if they can fit I will make you an offer!!!

Ok man, no problem, just let me know when, there's alot of people interested in them but then they have backed out. So I'm tired of people giving me offers and then backing out. The highest offer made was $1700 shipped. But now, I think I'll just let them go for like around 1500 shipped.

This F$#%ing guy ripped me off. The rims he sent me are all fuc$5d up and he lied about them. Every rim is either scratched to all hell or the wheels is just been dropped on the ground on its face. One even has the wrench mark all the way up the face of one of the spokes. Dont ever believe this guy. He is a lier and a fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you serious?????? They are all messed up???? I have been emailing this guy back and forth for a while now. We never got a deal going. I could get these wheels for 2k from Wheelexchange. 3200 shipped with rubber and Hunter Balanced. I was trying to get his rims for a low price. I told him I would do 1k and pick them up. But he refused. He said he needed 1500. I was actually thinking about it since it saves me 500 bucks for the same rims. BUT THANK GOD I didn't pull the trigger on this one!!! I have good pics of these wheels and they looked really clean. But maybe they were damaged during shipping? I am just giving him the benefit of the doubt.
ssutisna
12-17-2003, 12:58 PM
What do you mean I ****ed you up??? I sent the rims as promised and they didn't have scratches on them right. I sold acouple of items on this board before with no complains. I'm talking about rims, and other CF stuff. I don't rip people off. If you have problems with the rims, take it with me and just don't tell people that I rip you off. U can even ask the Boston people, they've seen my car and I don't have a single scratch on my rims.
ssutisna
12-17-2003, 01:06 PM
Also, if I wanted to rip you off, why do I even bother sending the rims or even insuring the rims??? It might be because of shipping like dahmer out. Maybe you can contact USPS and get this issue settled. What wrench mark are you talking about?

I know, exactly, so I don't know if this guy is trying to rip me off, who knows he's the one who dropped the rims, or there is really scratches on the rims. Either way, I know that there were no scratches at all when I took the rims to the bodyshop. I really take care of my rims and my car. So all my stuff that I sell are in good condition, except when I sold my I-Forged Senekas, as I accidentally drop them on it's face. Even that I mentioned it to the guy that was buying my rims.

I promise you that i am not lying. You can talk to the guy from discount tires here in Orlando. He is in the Apopka store. We opened the boxes together right from the Longwood post office.. I was so excited i put them all in my car and went straight there. I wanted nothing less then what you posted. There were wrench marks all over the wheels. It looked as if someone put them on and took them off blind folded. I swear on my life about this. THere is a four inch mark on the front spoke--it looks as if the torch wrench slipped and marked the wheel. Two of them looked as if they rolled on the face. The whole diameter of the front was scared up. I emailed steve right after i got home and asked if he would pay to fix the two worst ones. One back in particular. The guys name at discount tire is tyler. My name is Warren Morris. I have a black M3. He will verify all of this. All i wanted was what you posted. I feel totally ripped off. If it was the postal service, which i cannot believe unless they tried to mount this on one of their postal trucks before they gave them to me, I will be glad to send them back to you and you could set your claim to get your wheels paid for. I want these wheels. I was going to buy new ones. Now i have to spend the same amount to get these fixed. If you want to talk to me steve email me at wizo2g1@netscape.net. I will give my phone number to you so we can talk, but this is bull sh@^. Do me a favor and talk to Tyler 1st at (407)889-9113. He helped me open the boxes!

Why would i make this up. I dont want anything else besides these wheels on my car. I did not install them Discount tires did in Apopka. All i did was help open the boxes with Tyler--a store manager who i had ordered my tires through a week back. I dont care to lie to you or drop this in your lap, but this is the sh*t that you dropped in mine. I will never buy again from online without physically seeing the product I am getting. I was worried about this and of course it happened. YOu might have not sold bad sh#$ in the past, however this time you did. We spent a good hour discussing what I should do. I was going to go through paypal and send them back and have my money refunded. Tyler told me that I could have the wheels polished and repaired for about $50-80 a wheel. So I emailed steve this but there was no reply. I wanted to put them on so bad, I had been trying to get them for almost 3 weeks that i decided to do that and get them repaired. All of this can be verified. Call Tyler @(407) 889-9113 (DISCOUNT IN APOPKA)

First of all, if you did email me right away regarding something wrong with the wheels, I would've taken action right away, but the thing is, I didn't get an email from you at all. I just happened to browse the for sale section today and saw my post bumped up, so I checked it out, and look what I see. I still can't believe that you are saying there are scratches on the rims??? Because I swear that there were no scratches at all when I took the rims to the workshop. I don't know what to say, I mean, if you told me right away when u received them, then I would've definitely done something about it. Now I can't do anything as I'm leaving to Asia in acouple of days for about 3 weeks. Also, I have never ripped people of in the past, why would I want to start now? I'm also a regular member in this board and ripping people of is beyond the last thing I have in my mind. And like I mentioned before, if I wanted to rip you off from the beginning, I would not have insured the rims. So I don't know what you are up to, but you better come up to. Even some Boston people that has seen the car said that the rims are clean as they've seen the car in person, and also alot more people. I have sold celicatoe46m3 a product for $1000 without any hassles too. So I still think that you're making this up or trying to put me to trouble.

the rims could easily get damaged through shipping if not enough protective wrap was used. those ups and fedex guys just throw these packages around when the customers are not in sight.
i would try calling the ups or fedex to see what they can do. you did say the wheels were insured right?
good luck to both of you. :)

listen, call tyler at discount. He opened the wheels with me. I have only had them for about 2 weeks. I have not driven my car at all till this week because i just got back from new york. I gave you the number you can call him and he will verify my story. There is no way that it could be the shipping. It looks as though the power wrench was used without care. All the holes for the lug bolts are all scared too. I have had to buy paint to cover all this up till i can afford to get them polished. Even then the guy at discount said they will never look brand new.
wizo2g1
12-17-2003, 11:54 PM
Yeah i really care to get you in trouble. I sent you an email but you never responded. All i want is my rims the way they should be. Like you had advertised. I would never have spent 1700 dollars on anything that was as f$%ked up as these wheels if i had seen them first.
wizo2g1
12-17-2003, 11:55 PM
by the way there was no protective wrapping what so ever. If it is the post that has ****ed us both up I will be happy to help make the claim to get them fixed or replaced. I am not wanting trouble just my damn wheels looking the way you promised.

Why don't you take a picture of the rims. That way all the board member can see, otherwise there is no point of discussing this !

No one needs a picture. It is between the 2 parties only. They will resolve this on their own. What??? Is the board suppose to decide what happens??? Let them figure it out.
Dalton
12-18-2003, 04:26 PM
I dont know whats going on but i HIGHLY DOUBT that Steve (ssutisna) would mis-advertise his product or scam a board member in any way. I saw his car not too long back (maybe 2 months max?) at a little meet us boston fanatics were having (i go to college in boston) and i saw the rims and they were in great shape. I remember walking all around the car looking at it and especially the rear rims because he has a Brembo BBK on the rear that i was looking at. The rims and the entire car were in great shape. If anything happened, it was probably done in shipping.
Heres what needs to be done:
1) POST PICTURES OF THE DAMAGED RIMS because without this your claims are base-less...let everyone see what happened...
and
2) What condition was the boxes that the wheels came in like? did it look like it was all messed up?
Personally, i think that making a claim like this on the board so publically without waiting for an explanation is kind of retarded. I dont know steve that well personally, just from the time i met him at the meet and from what i see on the board. He's been here longer than i have probably. For all i know, maybe he did try to scam you, but i doubt it. I think that the accusations should cease and you two should figure this out and stop being so hot-headed and throwing these accusations (because thats all they are right now) around. I'm sure theres a big misunderstanding and the situation will be resolved....
now with that said, lets see these supposedly damaged rims at least...-mark

Well i do think that this was the wrong way to go about it, but i do promise that i emailed him first and waited for a response back. I gave him exactly a week--I was in New York--- and when i had got back there was still no response. I understand if you know him or had seen the wheels before. I tell you again that i am not making this up that the wheels came messed up. THe boxes were in great shape when they got to me. If they were not i would have said something when i picked them up at the post office. I will get my friends digital camera and take pics of the wheels to show everyone. I will try in the next two days. But i assure you that it could not be the post office. The only reason being is that the damage was inside the lug holes also. Even Tyler at discount told me that it looked as if a torque wrench was miss-used and the proof i will show is one paticular wheel were there is a large mark up the face of the spoke. I hope that this can be resolved. I dont mean to cause anyone distress. However, I do not believe it fair to pay for messed up wheels.
The pics i hope to get to you soon...

No, there is no way you can really get a picture from these quick photos i took. These wheels are also a little touched up with paint to make them look better. Of course underneath of the finish is black primer and that was what loooked terrible. These wheels are on my car and i want them to look at least decent so that is why i tried fixing them.
By the way that is only two wheels I am showing in those pics. You have to see them all to believe it.

You mounted the tires then took pics? You should have taken pics before...How does Steve know you didnt do this mounting the tires? I'm sure this happened during shipping, I would take it up with the shipper. I bought something from him before with no problems ( I think carbon Grilles... ) . No way would Steve claim 100% and ship them like that.

Yeah I knew he would say that but it was either put them on right then or pack them and send them back. That is why I left the phone number of the store manager of Apopka Discount tires in my reply. He was the one who helped me unpack the wheels. We saw this together.
When I came home that night, I emailed him and told him that the wheels were fu#ck#d up and that if he would reimburse me what it took to fix them I would be ok. I left for New York and came back to see no reply. I tried again, and out of frustration put this on the board to warn people.
I was really hoping to get a response from him, which I did only on this forum which is on the 3rd page. But nothing was done again.
If it was USPS, I would be happy to make the claim with him. But like I said again nothing has happened. Since then I have talked to a post office clerk and they asked me how he had shipped them. THey were in a regular wheel box, a box for different wheels, and they were not bubble wrapped or anything. The clerk told me that it is his fault and they could not do anything if he made a claim. If he wants to lie to the clerk to make a claim that is fine, I dont give a sh#t, I just want the wheels fixed. Especially the back wheel which looks like it has gone through hell.

A very similar incident happened to me, ironically with 19in hm2's also. Regardless, since you obviously placed this thread here for all the members to judge here is my opinion.
First of all, you should have been on the horn, email, and forum whatever it took to get in contact with the seller before mounting the tires. Lastly, you made a crucial mistake mounting tires on wheels you are claiming are damaged. This is because it raises the suspicion that you damaged the wheels after mounting tires on the wheels. Although, you have a witness who may be credible, he/she is not necessarily credible at this time. This is simply because he/she could be a friend of yours. Also, the witness (since he works at a tire shop) may have damaged the wheels himself.
On the flip side, if the seller did send the wheels damaged as shown on your pics, I believe you have every right to try to resolve this matter anyway necessarily. This means that no matter what anyone tells you about the integrity of the seller you have every right to try and get compensated for the product you purchased. If it takes for you to moan and ***** on this forum then so be it.
I by no means am placing blame on anyone not on the seller nor the buyer. There are always two sides to the story, yours, his and then the truth. I am just stating my opinion as I see it, especially since I was in a similar situation with Phil Nguyen (Texas resident). I truly hope this situation gets squared away and that both parties end up on good terms and happy with the outcome.

Thank you for your response. You are right that I should have not put them on my car and instead just made a claim 1st. This was a stupid act on my part. The only reason that I did was because I was to go to New York the next day, and I had someone who was to purchase my wheels. I had to get them to my brother who was going to take payment. When I got home immediately after cleaning up my stock wheels I emailed him. I told him quite clearly that they were messed up and that I wanted them fixed. That or I would remit payment from paypal and send them back.
I got back from New York and bad news!
No reply from steve nor did my wheels get sold. The buyer backed out.
So I emailed back the guy steve, still no reply. I was frustrated and wanted to warn any and everyone from buying from this guy.
I was also hoping someone could help. I am new to this forum, I just purchased my M3 3months ago now.
About the tire shop>The man Tyler is the Manager there. I met him two week prior to have him look at my M3 wheels. I wanted to see if he would maybe do a trade for my new tires towards new ones--19s.
He would not be able to give me a good price. I went back a week later and purchased my new tires anyway. The next time I saw him was when we opened the boxes together. I am ready to sign a sworn statement if that is what it takes. The other credible witness is a police officer on my floor. He also saw the wheels when I got home that night. He too can verify my story. THis is all pointless though. I guess i am sore that I got burned and I hope to meet this steve guy one day. I doubt he would correct a wrong or own up to it. I guess who would. If it was the post office, I would make the claim with him but like I said it never happened, I got no email back.
I guess now he left the country, how convienent. Figures. Anyway if anyone can help please do, I am broke and really need the two bad one fixed.

My assumptions...
Steve said his wheels were perfect when he took them to his bodyshop yet he didnt mention himself packaging or shipping the wheels. Steve mustve dropped his car off and had his shop dismount and packaged the wheels. The shop then kept quiet and did not mention to Steve about the damages they made. At this point Steve thinks the wheels are still perfect.
Ok, nevermind... u get my drift. But its probably wrong.

Yeah,
But steve still should be responsible for the wheels. I dont know what happened. All i want is my wheels fixed at least the bad two.

I can give you a shop in JAX to have them fixed between $130-$200 for all of them. You can also do it yourself, which isn't hard to do.
Just to let you know, we all on here have had rims or rims on our cars and rims get scratched all the time even when we didn't know we scratched them. I still think you got a huge bargain but see if steve will compensate you for the repairs. I also travel to Orlando alot and I know a place off of Lee Road that will probably be able to help you, just let me find the number...

Thank you. Yeah there is this guy at fields BMW, he said that he will take a look at them but he sounds expensive. Lee Road is perfect, I work near there.
Hey by the way the wheels were scratched before I had even had them mounted. THey were like that when I opened the boxes they were in.
The reason I do not believe it was the mail who did this is because there are tons of wrench marks inside all the lug holes and on the face of the wheel. The lip is so big that there is no way to scratch them like that from dropping them only.
Please hook me up with the number I appreciate you looking out!

First of all, I would like to clear up this mess with everyone. I just got back from Jakarta/Singapore for the winter holidays and just saw the pictures Warren posted. It is also true that I did not pack the rims. I was too busy so I let the people at the bodyshop handle with taking off the rims and shipping them to Warren aka wizo2g1. But to let everyone on this board know, I really truly didn't get Warren's email or phone call at all for a whole week as he mentioned that he emailed me, if I did get his email from the beginning, I would have done something quickly and not make such a mess as it is right now. At first I didn't believe Warren cuz I really trusted the guys at the shop and thought that everything would be fine. For everyone's information, I totally had no intention in cheating anyone in this forum as I'm a regular member here and find this forum a very important part of my daily website visits. Let this be a lesson to me in trusting the people in the bodyshop too much. I even yelled at the person because at first he didn't admit scratching the rims but when I showed him the pictures Warren posted, he couldn't say anything plus I have moved to another place and am not planning to trust them too much either. I really feel bad to Warren now and would like to apologize to Warren here publicly. I'm really sorry Warren and I am willing to pay you $200 to fix all 4 rims eventhough you said that you only want the 2 ones fixed. Next time when I want to take something out of my car for a resale, I will make sure to watch the people working on it. Once again, I'm going to send $200 to Warren via paypal in these few days as I have to transfer the funds from my bank account to my paypal account. Please reply to me at ssutisna@comcast.net to confirm your paypal account address. Sorry for all the inconvenience caused.

Well I am happy to say that steve<ssutisna> has put the $200 dollars in my account. I have to say that I am shocked and amazed that it has come this far. I am one to vouch for the reputation now of steve and hope that he can accept my apology. I hope anyone who every does business with steve realizes that he is a honest guy and it was not his fault what happened with the wheels. This was my first time buying from the internet and though I found it hard with what happened I am glad that steve corrected everything.
Thank you for finding out what really went on with the wheels and I would be happy to do business with you any time again.
I apologize also for any bad rep or slander you got from anyone, if they want to ask me anything just give them my email.
I put up pics when they are fininshed.
