a few of us are getting together to install our new Lightning DDE's on Sunday afternoon October 26th

Bring? You will need to bring the necessary tools so we can perform more than one install at a time.

Where? Philadelphia, PA

Time? arrival time 3:00 - installs start promptly at 3:30

Weather? Clear / 76 degrees


We need a head count to allow adequate spacing. If you would like to attend please respond to this post.

Hey, I should be getting my lightnings this Friday. Where in Philly do you plan on meeting? Do you and or anyone else have experience installing these? Thanks and e-mail me at jtkun@msn.com.

i will email as many people as possible. its not in philly, its right outside of philly. the church is in cheltenham right there route 611 and route 1 meet. the head of church is mia so ill have the address up asap.

also none of us i think have installed any ddes. however i dont think the dde should be too hard, it seems pretty easy in fact. :] besides thats what the meets for, to help each other out.

I wish I could go, family obligations sunday. I really need somebody to install them for me. Maybe another time if somebody gets good at it. Keep me informed

i just placed my order and prob won't have them by this weekend. if it's coo with you guys, would you be able to help me install them another weekend? of course pizza and beers would be on me ;)

OK, having performed yet another install for a local yokel, I'm pretty sure there are things that people need to be aware off.

I will be emailing everyone that has purchased the product step by step troubleshooting guides.

All too many installs have been succsesful for the smattering of a few to indicate a problem. In fact, what is likely the case is during shipment or during assembly, crimps are not perfect. That's ok, we can fix those. So, pre-test, pre-test, pre-test.

andy thanks for the offer. i'll let you know once i get them. good luck with the installs this weekend and take lots of pics.

did you say flurries? here comes snowboard season :thumbup:

sorry to hear that you guys couldn't meet up yesterday, but i guess that's good b/c now i can join you guys. hopefully my lights will come in time.

i had a problem with the rings clipping on the high beam area... those things just wouldn't clip in no matter how hard i pushed.. they kept poppin out... nothing a few drips of superglue didn't fix though... :lmao:
