what do you think?
i think if you lose it, it's game.
I feel bad for her though, but she should have known to secure her ticket.

In the article it says the ticket has been submitted to the lotto, but didn't specify who claimed the prize.

As I learned in the 2nd grade "Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers" In all honesty if I found that ticket I would probably give her half (81 millions) just so I didn't feel bad.

LOL, what a piece of shiat the biatch is. I agree, I hope the judge makes an example out of her. What a role model she is for her 7 children. I'm sure they will be real contributors to society.

So that lady claimed that she lost her ticket after the winning numbers where given out? Or did she loose her ticket before the numbers were given out and she said she had those exact numbers? She must be on krak or something.:yikes:

On the lottery tickets in Cali, on the back of the ticket is a signature line for the purchaser to sign their name. They don't have this back east?
Also the lady claiming the lost ticket, claims she's been playing those numbers for years and they represent birthdays and ages of her kids.........maybe she forgot to play that week and just figured since nobody turned in the winning ticket she'd claim she'd lost it.........Dunno, but FINDERS, KEEPERS!!!!

that skank reported her purse lost AFTER the #s were announced. cuz she said when she heard the #s, she knew right away that she won. but she prolly only said she lost the ticket cuz the winner was still in shock from winning, and didnt want to come forward yet

It's possible if you don't know how to manage your money and you go crazy spending money and giving it away to your friends/family. Check out what happened to MC Hammer.

mang, 1st thing one should always do when they win a multi million dollar lottery is hire a lawyer and a top-rated financial consultant. Once you get that out of the way and figure out how much you'll need for the rest of your life, you're all set.
you ought to be shot and tortured if 65million ain't enough for yo sorry azz.

I'm just saying that even if you have a $hitload of money, it's still possible to get bankrupt if you don't manage it well.

According to USAtoday:
As proof, Jemison(ticket holder) provided another ticket purchased at the same time and place as the winning ticket and had an outdated lottery ticket that showed she had played the same numbers in the prior drawing, Kennedy said.
Nuff said...

Yup, she also had a receipt for lotto tickets time stamped at the time the winning ticket was sold. That first lady needs to go to jail. Dampens the joy of winning the lotto when you gotta come out in public to defend yourself. I would wanna stay anonymous as long as possible too.

-I'd use a chunk of the money to start the Fisch Special Interest group, who's whole agenda would be to destroy all the other special interest groups.
-another chunk would be used to start my own religion.
-another chunk to kick this scheming bizzatch's litigious ass, on the DL of course. :eeps:

CLEVELAND (AP) - A woman said through tears Thursday that she lied about losing the winning ticket for a $162 million lottery prize awarded to another woman.
Elecia Battle, 40, is dropping her lawsuit to block payment of the 11-state Mega Millions jackpot to the certified winner, her lawyer Sheldon Starke said.
"I wanted to win," Battle said. "The numbers were so overwhelming. I did buy a ticket and I lost. I wanted to win so bad for my kids and my family. I apologize."
The Cleveland woman had filed a police report saying she lost the ticket, possibly when she dropped her purse outside a convenience store. The lottery declared Rebecca Jemison, 34, the winner on Tuesday.

Battle said she wanted to use the money to help her family and recently laid-off Cleveland police officers. She apologized to Jemison, her lawyer and her husband.
"I'm not a bad person, I'm really not," she said. "Everyone has a past."
Authorities are investigating whether Battle lied in the police report - a misdemeanor punishable by 30 days to six months in jail.
Jemison, of suburban South Euclid, qualified for a lump-sum payment of $67.2 million, after taxes.

no....$300 million was the total jackpot. Cash payout was something like $170 million of which after taxes he was left with $90 million (who says the rich don't pay their fair share of taxes)
