i dropped in new pistons myself. rms had the pistons made to their specs and dropped shipped them to me. instead of 11.5:1, im running 9.5:1.

That's the kind of shyte I'm talking about! Where's your boost set at and what kind of dyno numbers you putting down?

i hit the dyno today, the rpm cut off at 6000 rpm. it might be the wheels sensors or something cuz my abs light came on. i turned off the traction control. at 6K rpm i was making 347@ 8psi on a mustang dyno. im gonna try again tommorrow.

Nice, I think I've read you need to pull an assload of fuses in order to get that thing to quit shutting itself down, any fuse that deals with traction control, good luck, post numbers, scan the dyno run and post that sucker!

Did Osh say that 8psi was all you should run on a set of 9.5:1 pistons? I would of thought you could push more, maybe because you aren't running an intercooler? I decided to try a supercharger setup too, going with 9.0:1 pistons

im supposed to to be boosting at 11-12psi. im thinking i maxed out the bypass valve which is set to run at 8.5psi. by the way the dyno chart was looking, if it could rev to 8k i'd be making about 405-410hp.

I'm blind as a bat...my bad :bawling:
1BADM3, you gots nice numbers for only 8.5psi, any reason why you haven't gotten around to upgrading your bypass valve yet? Just lazy or nervous? :craig: just kidding, I wonder at what point will the fuel pump cry foul when you try and go to the full 12 psi

bmwdon,
i'm just lazy. osh asked me to bring it to rms to crank up the boost and do some dynos down there. i think the fuel pump should be fine since im running 12 injectors.

Jaysus! 12 injectors, damn man, that's crazy, you couldn't just have went with like 42lb injectors or something? And I'ld still be worried about the fuel pump, unless you now have 2 fuel pumps, one for each set of 6 injectors. That thing is crazy man, very nicely done, congrats on having one bad m3 :) Now I wonder if the 36lbs injectors will take me to where I hope to be with my s/c setup. fizzuk
