Does anyone know which S/C type Dinan will be offering this summer ?? or perhaps it will be specifically a Dinan only design ??

According to my local Dinan rep..the projection is a summer release for the 330's. It is in testing as we speak.

Anyone know ?

Most likely a Vortec unit and low boost.

That would be my guess.

Cos Dinan has been using Vortech units for their E36 M3, X5 and E39 models as well. It's highly unlikely they will venture out into other compressors. Plus there will always be a *mutually beneficial* advantage for a US tuner to endorse a US branded unit.

I think hakjai means why doesn't the poster go for ASA, not Dinan :P
I would concur, Dinan is on the more "conservative" side of modding, and I would go for ASA or a different company...

if warranties mean anything to you, then go dinan. if all you care about is performance, then go ASA. my .02.

It'll probably up the horsepower by like 40 h.p. or something. :thumbdwn:

I am looking mainly for specific Dinan information,

I was impressed with the feedback on owners using the ASA, but I also think

Dinan makes good reliable choices in their product line - especially if their S/C

will come with a engine warranty of some sort.

Sorry your rep may be full of sh1t - I called Dinan directly and they said no S/C for the 330's. Call them yourself. They said not enough demand for the 330. The market for the M3 is much bigger and that is what they are coming out with.

For this reason I'm leaning towards getting the AA for my 330ci. Sorry for the bad news!

no demand!! they're just afraid to jump into a market thats already been exploited by AA and ASA

I seriously doubt he would bring it up out of the blue ?? remember there are several 330's to M3's, perhaps Dinan wants it hush for reasons of competition ?? perhaps the M3 will be the 1st, the 330 following. Time will tell :dunno:

I do like the ASA reviews.
