Hey guys:

Get ready for spring with Demon Eyes for your BMW E46!!!!

After negotiating with my supplier for GenV DDE kits, I was able to put together an excellent deal to offer E46Fanatics members.

If we can sell 100 sets of these DDE kits in a month, these will be $100 off, for the price of only $200 SHIPPED ANYWHERE IN THE USA. :wowee: (International shipping prices are lowered as well)

All the details can be found on our website at:
http://www.bimmian.com/fwd.htm?page=E46Fanatics

If we are not able to get our quota in order to buy the kits, we will either ship them anyway, or we will offer a 100% refund to everyone.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to post them here or send me a PM.

Thanks guys,
Ian

The Gen5 DDE is an earlier version of Halo rings lighting, but it is still a very good option.

At this price, it is considerably cheaper than the Phosphyre Halos... $100 cheaper than regular and $150 cheaper than enhanced. We offer free shipping, so i am sure that saves another $10.

And just for the record, i am not out to say which is better or to make this into a debate.... i have seen both and they are both excellent products. They both have their positive points and negative points, but all in all, in my opinion, after weighing all out, at this price, the Gen5 is the way to go.

This is exactly correct.

To simply say one is better than another is to completely disregard the value and the quality of one over another.

There are downsides and upsides to any product. Not all of you can afford an M3, that's why BMW made 325s.

Also, FYI on the DDE Gen V.

A) you can hide the boxes under the headlights
B) you just run the fiber out the dust cover (no drilling)
C) allows you to change color
D) makes it look OEM

That question is like asking "How long is a piece of string?"

It depends on what you think are important points of each one:

If you want a cheaper price, authentic OEM look and brightness, ability to change colors, go for gen5

If you dont mind paying more, want a really really bright look (more than OEM), dont need to change the colors because you like the xenon color, and want a little simpler installation, go for Phosphyre.

The mounting of the light boxes on the GenV is easy on a 323. Lots of room under the hood

I've got a two questions. First, I'm wondering how long they last? I saw something about 20,000 hours. Even though that sounds like a lot, if you think about it it's not really. My second question is if I can switch they from my Halogen lights to the Xenons when I upgrade later on this year?

TIA

Hi:

These can move from your current halogen lights to your new xenon lights without a problem & without buying any additional parts.

I think 20k hours is overstating the life of any light bulb.

I would imagine that you would probably get 3k-5k hours out of these bulbs, but i am just guessing. To put this into prespective, they will probably not expire in the time you keep your car. if they do, they are only about $5 per bulb through us to replace.

Thanks

I have installed these on M3s before. Given the amount of "stuff" under the hood, it presents a little more of a challenge to find a place for the light boxes, but you can do it no problem.

The only thing that may cause permanent damage is when you run the fiber optics through the rubber boots at the back of the lights. Given the nature of the rubber, being flexible, etc. If you take the fiber back out, you will never notice because it will spring back together to seal up the gap.

If you were wondering about a lease return. They never noticed when I traded in my 330ci for my M3.

Thanks

There are no color bulbs. the bulbs that come with the kit stay with the kit, but color filters are installed to change the color. These filters are INCLUDED In the price.

You should have no problems installing these.

Instructional videos and a PDF are available for assistance.

We have installers all over the USA that will install these for you.

Noticing you are from NJ, i dont know if we will have someone close to you depending on where in the state you are.

Here is a map of our qualified installers:
http://www.bimmian.com/images/dde-in1.jpg

Some of our installers travel, send me a PM if you are interested.

Most of the kits that we sell (90%) I would say are DIY installations. They are not complicated to install, and good information is provided to you for instructions.

The bulb is an 80w halogen bulb.

I would imagine that you can get it in a hardware store or lighiting store. I think it would be similar to those bulbs used in some track lighting.

If you do need a replacement (i have been selling these kits for a LONG time and never heard of someone requiring a replacement bulb) we can provide you with them for only $5

Only 10 Days Left On This Group Buy....

I have had a couple tell me that they are interested in the GB, but dont have the cash right now. Here is what we can do: I can take a deposit of $50 and order you an extra kit. Make the payment for the other $150 within 60 days, and we ship the kit.

We will be ordering a kit just for you, and stocking it until you pay the other portion (tying up our money as well), so we need you to make the purchase within 60 days, and we will not be able to issue refunds.

Hey Ian, I just noticed the install instructions on your website address GenIV. Do you have GenV instructions I can look at? What's the difference in the install?

I'm assuming with GenV I won't need to drill and I won't need to cut the fiber or supply my own wires, right?

Also, is there any soldering involved in the GenV install or do they wires clip on to tap in? (Like the kidn supplied in the valentine 1 hardwire kit)

Thanks!

Yeah, I think those were written before people discovered you could just run the fiber through the weather stripping. This makes the removal of the entire headlight housing unnecessary as well.

Still waiting too, you don't know how many times i checked the post office today LOL. Ian said they would go out last wed/thursday. I got a notice that it shipped thursday so it should be coming soon. Hopefully as i'm on my 2 days off now and want to get them in!

Ok, now I'm concerned............. I was under the impression that my order was being shipped LAST Monday (9 days ago).
What's the deal?
Is anyone else still waiting?

:dunno:
Post your email address, or last name or PM them to me, and I can look into this for you
