yeah, i was standing almost in front of him when he did it, there were also a few other people right there including a lady picking up her little girl to put her in her car that was parked in the loading zone at the front of thge store, she was not nearly as impressed as that jackass was about his "cool burnout". Its morons like that who ruin these meets for all of us, if we were in a secluded parking lot or even at the track it would be one thing, but we were in a freaking grocery store parking lot on a saturday afternoon for christsakes! wtf was he thinking!? so in closing i just wanna say to the idiot in the m3 convertable :thumbup: your mom must be so proud.

That was definately not cool. Doing a burnout with a mother and kid nearby is not safe or smart. I don't know how old that guy was, but im only 18 and can see that doing something like that is immature. It's actually things like these that draws people away from the meets. Maybe a few guys or his friends thought it was cool, but trust me when I say that most people at the meet did not think it was "cool" and did not like it one bit. I think an apology is in order. I understand people make mistakes, but to recognize and learn from it is the important thing.

Hey Hartge50. If I remember correctly, that was Mike's car (the S3 type vert pictured above). He is a real cool guy. I didn't get his e46fanatics handle though.

I would assume with his setup...ASA supercharger, he is probably putting around 300 at the wheels if he is 5-speed.....Those seem to be the most common numbers for that kit.

So basically instead of just buying coilovers he drives around one of the ugliest M3's around (more than just my opinion).

I just don't understand. if your sponsered, you have to represent, but we were not feeling the car at all.

Harrison owns the Tein M3, he's currently in the recruitment phase of Europrojektz having showed with us at DUB last year and HIN this year so far. I don't think he's on this forum but he's the owner of Kansai Xenon Service in San Gabriel (he did my xenon retrofit and put in my 7000k bulbs)

I have to agree with you...I'm not feeling the stickers and **** all over his car. Did he really have to go all out just because he's sponsored? But anyways I saw his car in a Kansai Lighting ad in this Los Angeles Japanese magazine and was thinking about taking my car over there to get some 6000k's. Could somebody get me a discount :) ?

Let me set the record straight. The Straßentech CF aero packages on the cars you see were prototypes. The company delivered a limited number of complete kits to see how the US market would respond. They will not be releasing the complete line till later this year (SEMA in Nov). They are currently in the process of setting up their offices in the U.S. and they tell me that their site should be up soon.

FYI, Straßentech will be offering a complete line of CF engine bay enhancements and Titanium interior components including a special package for all you SMG owners out there. :thumbup:

I've been going to this show for about a year now. Myself, my wife and our baby go about 2 times a month with our classic car. Do we want this kind of rep to follow with the BMW crowd? This show is so much fun but it has had it's problems in the past with riced out civics showing up and demonstrating what a go cart sounds like with a coffee can on the back of it. They had to hand out flyers at one time telling people to watch it because get this.......PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIVE IN THOSE HOMES BEHIND YOU! I've never seen an trouble at all with the guards except for when a car "club" shows up to crash the party.

Let's keep this show going and respect the people letting us use this area. :D

Yup, it was fun. Could've been a little more organized but the turnout was phenomenal. So many M3 owners & enthusiasts all in one place (better than Disneyland) :D .
