Starting on August 15th,the price of a ticket for violation of NJ Law 39:3-29(failure to show your driver's licence,registration,or insurance card at the time you are stopped) is going from $44.00 to $173.00.For not having all three documents is $519 !!!!!!!.

haha I just had to show all 3 yesterday in NJ... I am registered in PA.. I got stopped for blowing my horn!!! I also got let go.. have all documents is a must...

What is the source of this notice of alleged increase? I ask only because I received an email with this information in it along with a "hoax" that the state police are beefing up speedtraps on certain major roadways.
