Wow, you guys go nuts with the painters tape! You and that 911 are covered! I might have to try that, I only cover the fogs/headlights

i believe the tape could also protect the car from rocks and small debris being spit up and chipping the car. nice pics! i've been to a few autox runs but never participated.

yes that's a silver gray, and darker one is carbon black :)..

blue tape was to protect from rock chips/debris and cones... I have a clear bra kit on my car so I didn't need it, but his car is pretty much new and was smart idea to use tape...it's better to be safe than sorry.. ;)

Unless your running sticky hoosiers or a tire of that sort it's really not that necessary to use all that tape. Although I do up my fenders and the corners of the car to prevent the few rocks my tires pick up when they get hot and prevent damage from conges :thumbup:

I Dont think most people tape that much for AutoX, just for track to protect from rocks and such.

Where can I get some of that tape??? If i go on a really long roadtrip and/or track, I would like to totally cover my front end with that...

^^it's called "painters tape", available at Wal-Mart and hardware stores everywhere.
