Help to organize an NY meet!!!!!!!!

Whos down for a westchester Ny meet on the weekend,during the day so I dont have to have any more beef with the cops.lol.Everyone NY,CONN,NJ,LI,...WHOEVER .For real ///Mpwr,SteelBlue,Sandman...help a brotha out lets do this .We can pick a date like a month from now to give enough heads up notice for everyone.Come on I see all these NJ and Long Island meets,everyone is welcome but I sayin ,lets have one in our home town.

3) and most importantly PRESENTATION gentlemen(In other words lets promote the shiit out of it...

A cool place might be one of the parks on the Hudson river towns. We could get some good pics of our cars with NYC as the backdrop. I'll scout them this weekend. I think Dobbs Ferry has a good one.

When: Saturday, May 15th @ 1 PM. This should give us all time to detail our cars that morning. :pimpin: Rain date is Sunday, May 16th.

Where: Somewhere in Westchester, probably at a park on the Hudson (Yonkers, Dobbs, Irvington, Tarrytown). I'll determine exactly where on Saturday.

What to bring: Your car. Duh. And cameras.

Afterwards we can go for a drive and get a bite to eat somewhere.

Interesting idea.... that commercial comes to mind where the guy has two cars and he gets out of one, into the other, moves in 10 ft, gets back into the first one, moves it 10ft, etc...

Seriously, the e21 is a little hurtin' right now... big curbs + 50mph with the non-collapsing suspension from the early 80s make for a bad bad combo. The entire front left suspensions is wrecked, subframe is bent, frame is bent ( :cry: ) ... the tie rod came up through the floor and almost pinned my foot under the clutch... it's a mess. I don't see it being fixed any time soon. But I'm working on it ... that mishap is actually the reason I got the 323 .. I needed something to drive!!

Wow, not a pretty sight. That frame damage looks VERY minor. I bet it could be easily straightened.

Sorry about not seeing this thread earlier, I'll be donw for a weekend meet more than any Thursday night meet because the cops are justt too *****y now....A meet in May sounds good because after having this kind of weather these past few days, I'd definitely go. I have also have a good digi cam that i can use to take pics and post. So yea, I'm down for a meet!! :thumbup:
