Sam or Samir, this is Mike who bought the ASA SKI kit from Vancouver,BC,Canada. If you're reading this, please contact Andrew Redell of Autowest BMW (604)273-2217, or myself (604)518-1819. During insallation, they found out it's MISSING PARTS :banghead: ,they need to stop the installation. I tried to call you guys but no one pick up the phone :dunno:

Have them write down which parts are missing and email them to me. I will forward it to ASA and get you replacements.

Why there's no one answering the phone in the shop??? Samir, I gave my installer your phone number. They said the missing parts are 2 plastic hoses....How's this suppose to happen??!!! I thought the package was complete with all parts...Can you give me your e-mail?

Mike, probably not my business to intervene. But I think maybe a private email/conversation with Samir might be more appropriate. I know it's frustrating to be in your position. Trust me, having worked on the oil cooler and WI kits, I know. Missing parts can happen. Rennsport will get back to you.

That being said, the Rennsport staff are not glued to their seats to answer phone calls all day. They do go around the shop getting things packed for shipment, arranging and checking inventory as well. I have personally witnessed this. If you left a message, chances are it's the 27th voice message of the day. In order to get to your message, they have to go through the first 26 messages and returning each message.

So kick back, relax, have a cup of tea. Everything will be fine. ;)

Mike, it happens. We're talking about some hoses here, which your installer could most likely source from any local hardware shop. I don't understand why they are making this such a major problem with the install. I could understand if it was a major part, but it's a silicone hose.

Whatever the case, our tech is on vacation till next week and Sam/Simon are busy with customers. You can send me the part descriptions to samir@rennsport.com and I will pull the hoses from one of the kits we have here.

Finally got in touch with Sam@Rennsport this afternoon. Hope I can get the missing parts ASAP. I was so anxious because I don't have a car to drive until the ASA SKI is finished installing on my car, which is schedule to be ready to pick up by tomorrow. Now that I have to wait for the parts to arrive, I won't have a car to drive to school. I must return my courtesy car to the dealer tomorrow and pay the extra expense to rent a car myself :dunno: . Rennsport have always said if we ran into question during installation, they could help on the phone. But I called them the whole morning during their BUSINESS HOURS....anyways, I hope to get everything resolve ASAP

This should have been handled in private

Samir, Sam, and the rest of the RennSport crew have been nothing but help to me and many people on this board.

When I was doing my install they where there to help me answer all my questions and took time out of their BUSY days to assit me.

RennSport offers A+ customer service and I would reccomend them for all your modding needs.

Even to this day, I continue to call and email rennsport for help and advice and they still help me out w/o trying to sell me anything

This 'problem' seems solved now, but sometimes these forums are the worst idea ever. If you couldn;t reach rennsport via phone, you should have checked their contacts section of their site, and emailed them... :banghead:

For too long, too many people come on the forums bashing (im not saying you bashed rennsport; but others do) and then after about 4 or 5 pages of bull.****, the person that started the thread comes back and says, problem solved, sorry about the confusion, and I guess I should have just talked to the company in the first place.

Glad that someone else feels the same way. Why people post here before 1) calling or emailing the company or 2) looking at the company website is beyond me. I guess it is a testament to the attachment to the site, which of course makes me happy, but really if there is a problem with a specific product, from a specific company, no one is going to be able to help you sort out the issue better than them.

I also don't know what this person expected...if they cannot get a hold of TENN Sport because the phone is busy, or Samir and Sam are busy is posting going to help? Is another forum member going to relay the info? Doesn't add up if you ask me.

Guys, I fully agree with what you are saying! RennSport are great, they have been more than helpful to me. People like this are very rare to find in this industry.

I think Mike was just scared, and wanted to speak to someone.

Mike, Next time; wait at least 24hours for an email back. Sometimes I find I don't get a reply back within that time, and I send other one out. Only to find that I get an answer to mine shoftly after, and a reply to the second later that day.

They work through them in order they arrive, so don't hammer them with hunderds either cos it not going to make a difference dude.

Good Luck with it all.

Big  to Rennsport as well, I too had many issues during my install and Rennsport was very good with getting back to me, not always right away but within a reasonable amount of time. I have told anyone who is going to do this to expect your car to be down 3-5days if everything goes smoothly and you won't leave yourself in a jam if you get it back in 3days. Having Sam's cell phone number helps by the way :P

Hey, I sent you an email about getting a hold of your installation pictures, do you mind sending them to me? I can setup a FTP server if the files are huge, or you can put up an online album for everyone to see (i'm sure lots of people are curious). PM me!
