ASA SK1 utilizes stock injectors, the SK2 upgrade (hopefully avail in a few weeks) will utilize larger injectors and software to accomodate the larger injectors.

can stock injectors cope with 10psi?

You'll need a fuel pressure regulator to maintain a proper AFR, otherwise your stock injectors will run out of fuel.

I will be needing them since im running a completly custom setup on my 2.0L e46 318i! Consisting of a PD blower front mount intercooler full exhaust system! At the moment its getting a unichip installed and once all done we can determine what size injectors will be needed to run with the 10psi the blower produces!

Good question. Could they be 45lb/hr? I think i read this in another forum. I'm trying to remember where..hmm... Here are the pictures though :P Stock (black) Vs. AA provided with kit (Black/blue).

330s need 30# injectors, 325s should run 24#.

45# sounds a little much...don't you have to fill the tank once every 2 days maybe?

Once the software is in does that mean, we will not need to use the ASA AFR Controller??

I would imagine so. Do realize that the ASAtronic was designed for Euro ECU nonetheless. While it's good for the US specs, I think it could have been better. I am actually looking forward to your setup with the controller.
You hereby have the responsibility to report your findings to us, aye? :P :pimpin:

erick, I knew I saw the Bosch injectors before. They should be 24#.

Last I heard, the Speed World Challenge 325i uses 40#.

What size injectors does the 323i come with? 325i? 330i? M3?

Paddleshift, I was looking closer at the picture and it seems that they are different... look at the tip color, size, etc...I can't seem to find images of the different kinds of Bosch Fuel injectors.
Reading a little bit more about fuel injection i found that to produce the AA advertised 310 BHP in a FI 323i inline 6 engine you would need about 30 - 35 lbs/hr injectors... maybe my math is a little off... got the information out of this webpage:
http://www.dune-buggy.com/turbo/injectors.htm
http://sdsefi.com/techffhp.htm
Thes second one shows a reference table with injectors running at 100% capacity (which according to what I read, FI engines should be running closer to the 50% capacity line). Please comment.

erick,
I said "should" be. I didn't say "must" be. Why don't you call AA or Bosch find out? I am sure they can sort out the details for you.
Yes, I am aware that there is a close-formed formula for calculating the injector rate. They "assume" BSFC to be 0.55 or 0.5 thereabouts. Take those numbers as theoretical references. Don't hug on to it like it's gold. This is coming from someone who works with pure and applied mathematics as a living.

I'm anxiously waitng for the release of the SKI upgrade package (larger injectors, custom ECU software) from RENNSPORT. Hope they come out soon....
