I have a few questions for those that have gotten 'work' done on their BMW's in and around Boston.

I'm planning on getting my car's suspension lowered and was told by a friend to go to WheelDynamix in Natick, MA. The guy on the phone also mentioned they sell replica rims as well!! Does anyone have experience with them. Are there other shops around Boston that I should consider going to for rims and the suspension?

I also had my window's tinted at Eastern Glass Tinting in Charlestown. The back window came out ok..but I want to have it redone (especially with the Dot Matrix). Does anyone have recommendations of where else to go. I'm planning on getting my dad's 7 done too and want to make sure it's done right the first time!!

btw...if you want to go to a great car wash, try AM PM carwash. This place is in Holbrook, MA. Very shady looking place, but they wash the car by hand and do a great job...all for $13. It only takes 5-10 minutes too.

I haven't had any work done yet, but I've kept tabs on most recommended places around the area. I haven't heard a lot about WheelDynamix, other than their web site. If I was lowering, I'd go to either HMS Motorsport or Turner Motorsport--they're both on the North Shore, near the North Shore Mall. I'm also looking into tinting and I've heard that Sonny's in Saugus is a good place, as is Tint King in Billerica--those are the two most consistently recommended places I've seen on the various boards. As for car washes, I've had my car done twice by Dr. Detail in the Cambridgeside Galleria parking garage. They wash by hand with a low-pressure hose. Also costs $13, but you have to pay for parking--pretty convenient for me 'cause I'm usually picking something or other up from the mall most weekends and it's only a 5 minute drive from my apartment.
