well yesterday i was driving my car and i stepped on it in a race against a G35 coupe....as i'm taking off the line and i step on it feels as if no boost is hitting me at all and as if the opposite is happening....the more i step on the gas the less effect it has...so im waiting at the light so i can pull into a gas station and my car's idle feels rough...it feels like theres something shaking in the engine bay or something....so i pull into the gas station...shut it off and then turn it back on...the car runs perfect so i think and the check engine light is gone...so i accelerate to about 3k rpm lightly but it does nothing to the car but when i step on it.....same thing happens all over again....and the shop can't take a look at it until monday....could someone tell me whats goin in with my car? could it be that the vacuum hose is lose again?

Could be anything really. I'd suggest that you leave your car alone for the weekend and get it towed to the shop on Monday. Also, despite the amount of electronics the car has, still it isn't really a desktop PC running on a windows OS. Restarting the car doesn't really solve anything. When the car is in the shop, remind the tech to check the OBD2 port as well.
Keep us posted

i'm guessing thats what it is again too.....it feels the exact same way as it did the first time it happened...how can i ensure that this time they secure it tightly enough?....

ok....after what i stated above....the problem happens when i step on it where the car is supposed to hit big boost...for example if i were to punch it in 5 @ 60 it wouldn't start givin a problem until i reached about 90 mph....and then the engine starts to shake and when i try to accelerate it does not....but when i drive it normally and put the throttle 3/4ths of the way down and i shift wit da steptronic before 4000 rpm than its fine....and the car runs smooth....but when i step on it the engine shakes and when i turn it off for about 5 sec and turn it back on it runs normally again...

Again that is limp mode. The computer thinks there is a problem and reduces power to the engine. When you shut it off you "reset it" when I check the codes on mine it says "misfire in bank 6" A misfire is when the spark plug does not ingnite the fuel and the computer can see this and puts the car into limp mode. Try new spark plugs, it worked for me

i took it out for like 10 min to try to figure out exactly what the problem wuz....i know for a fact now that it is a misfire....my spark plugs are from some no name company OWS...

Perhaps Denso Iridium 20s might help. Check my post on Rennsport:http://www.rennsport.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2578&highlight=denso
<b>In any case</b>, since I am always thinking for the worst, just leave your car alone until it's brought to the shop tomorrow. I think the car has gone through some pretty strenous experiences in the last few days, don't you agree? :P Go occupy your mind with a movie or something.
Once it's at the shop, have the tech check the codes, check the tubings and misc fasteners etc. Everything will be alright.
EDIT: I believe mine are Iridium 20s. Confirm with Rennsport.

finally my obd2 port worked for some weird reason...here are the codes i pulled....
P1189
P0302
P1122
P1250 (twice :dunno: )
P0101
P0442

P1189- Fuel Control Bank 2 Sensor 1
P0301- Cylinder 1 Misfire detected
P1188- Fuel Control Bank 1 Sensor 1
P1250 for some reason i can't find this code for a BMW
P0101- Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance
P0442- Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (small leak)
i'm reading all this but wut does it all mean?

P1250 Early Fuel Evaporation Heater Circuit
dj, I think 0442 and 1250 are the keys to your problem, which eventually trigger the rest of the codes. I am guessing that you have a fuel leak somewhere. Ask the tech to check the surroundings of the ASA FPR. Once a drop in fuel pressure (due to leak) is detected, 1188 and 1189 are triggered. Which leads to the mass air flow detection being erratic.
Again, this is my basic guess. Let us know what the shop gathers tomorrow.

wut is the cylinder 1 misfire though? does that still mean i have to change my spark plug?....

can someone help me please?...

Bro, you need to chill on this. ;)
My way of solving your problem is:
1. Check the fuel lines, ASA FPR first.
2. Check all the hoses. Check for leakages.
3. Reset the codes and go test drive.
4. If everything is ok for the next 80~100 miles or so, work on getting a set of Densos.
A misfire doesn't imply you need new sparks right away.
can someone help me please?...
