I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that this may never make it to a finished kit.
Anybody have any info from them re: release date for E46?
Definitely leaning towards ASA, but the ATP product and PD SC's like twin-screw sound cool, if only they weren't vaporware :( :banghead:

Yeah ATP Turbo is mad lagging, I dunno what the hell they're doing. They don't exactly keep us updated. Why don't they just keep the damn kit to themselves, they seem to be going a great job of it as of now. They have so many buyers like hanging at their tips and they are working like turtles. It makes me think that why would I want to do business with these kind of people in the first place.

Well at least they aren't like UUC....they dont take your money and you wait 6 years for the product.

Twin scrolls are not vaporware. E36 version is done, E46 coming.

From Jan - Feb., I was in e-mail contact with Josh and Stephen Anderson, Both of which are developing twin-screw for E46. Recently sent a *ping* how's it going? e-mail and have yet to hear back. (not a big deal, as I'd rather they were working diligently on the product than answering e-mails from lamers like me....)
But... a simple "Maybe by end of summer..." or "End of year" or "WHen hell frezzes over" would be useful. Tha's why I referred to them as vaporware. No slight intended if they're truly around the corner.

i called them up and they said that they can not for sure give a release date on the kit. they said it make take anywhere from 3 months to 3 years.

Josh is local to me so I stop in and bug them from time to time. WIth the rate they are going my best guess is 6 months for an M52TU kit.
I plan on having the first one.

Get the Supercharger man; ASA or AA will be just fine. If ATP ever releases its product (in like a year), you' ll still be able to sell your S/Cer if thats what you wanna do... I'm personally happy with my kit; of course, once you get it, you will always wanna go faster  ...its a sickness im telling you! :pimpin:

An adjustment is in order here - UUC never pre-charges for an order, as I've posted hundreds of times.
Customer protection fact: in most states, and with all credit card processing contracts, it is illegal to pre-charge without consent of the customer.
Any experience you may have had with an independent dealer has nothing to do with our policies.
If you or anyone wants to discuss this concept in a mature manner, I am available by phone @ 908-874-9092 during business hours. I am not subscribing to this thread as this response contains all the information that anyone needs to know.

Woohoo.
Got an e-mail from Josh:

Still plugging away and hoping that we will be shipping kits within the next 30 days.

Rob is correct:
I run my own business and if I charged a customers card and never shipped out the items I could face criminal prosecution and risk loosing my processing contracts.

I sent an email to Josh on 4/29 and the estimate / ballpark figure he gave me at that time was 6 months. It appears that they should have something ready by the end of the year at the latest. I don't think it is "vaporware" as they have completed the E36 version, which should provide them some insight into developing the E46 version. I would think with the knowledge gained from the E36, they may be able to apply some of it to the E46.

I think the E36 version is pretty much shipping. I know that they have all or most of the bits in stock now and I think the only hold up was on the production version of the manifold. Can't see him bringing in a dozzen or so blowers if he was not on the verge of shipping them out.

on the m coupe in the picture. It is the same 1 lap of america coupe on UUC's site. it is a nice looking setup, and from talking to the guys, it seems that they are still ironing out a few things with the setup, in other words, they won't be shipping quite yet. It seemed nice, though. I wonder what the price point is. :dunno:
