Hey guys,

Just called up my ASA installers, and they told me, that the Dyno on the car before install, ie stock. Only mod is a ACS exhaust.

Was 236 BHP at the crank. I don't know the @ the wheels figure. There emails down at the moment. Also don't know what % loss they used,

But anywayz sounds good to me.

BMW says they should be 231 BHP, 5 BHP from the ACS back box then.

Sounds good, Durgesh!

I am curious about this...but do most dyno shops give numbers at the crank in Europe, in general? Cos some bloke dynoed his B3 S in Belgium and he has the crank numbers too. No loss %.

I have not seen the sheet yet, they gave it to me over the phone, I am also wondering what is on the sheet, or the actual dyno screen.

They have been trying to email me it, but something wrong with there outgoing email server. So have not got any of the mails.

Anyway hopefully they finish on friday like they said.... he did not sound too convicing on the phone however. But will post both sheet's once i have them.

Hey Guys,

Was suppose to go pick up my car today, but its not ready.

Supercharger install not fully completed. I did however go down there anywayz and have a look.

The oil pan is tapped, bracket's on, Intercooler's on. oil supply is done.
Left is mounting the Supercharger and installing belt, Fuel Regulator and air filter piping etc.

He says we are now looking at Wednesday next week. I wish I had taken my camera would have made interesting pictures.

I did however manage to get my Dyno print out that they did before they started, ie 330ci stock with just ACS Back Box.

Mr Paddle.Shift, Your right! There's no at the wheels figure on there dyno.
I asked my guy there and he said something about the dyno taking gains on the way up and then loss on the way down. I personally have no idea. You guys might have a better idea of how this works.

But looking at the Dyno sheet, it seems pretty on the dot, with the result, if we take BMW 330ci Spec sheet figure of 231BHP, I am + 5.7BHP, and all i had was an exhaust, Go ACS

Durgesh, Thanks for the update. :D

It is indeed interesting that the dyno numbers are given at the crank not at the wheels (at least in the US).

Good thing about this, is stop the debate about what % loss to use.

It seems on the mark with my result, will be really interesting in a few weeks after break-in of the ASA kit, to see what this same dyno comes up with.

Anyone have any idea's on how some Dyno's can work out the loss??
