Alright, I'm sick of this crap. I've had it on since I got my ASA supercharger installed. I had my car hooked up to an OBDII scanner, and the result was that since I don't have a radiator fan anymore, that's the reason the CEL is on. On top of that, my air conditioner doesn't work as well anymore, due to the lack of a radiator fan. So my question is what are my options? Am I just screwed because there's nothing I can do about the lack of a radiator fan? Does the CEL give me any sort of side-effects other than not being able to use my cruise control?
Any help on this would be much appreciated, thanks!

Maybe i'm wrong, but isn't the fan suppose to still be there? atleast from the pics I saw, i could have sworn it was...

Well in order to fit the intercooler into place, the radiator fan needs to be removed. I have an automatic, so my radiator fan is in front of the radiator. Now, someone suggested to me that I could get a radiator fan from, say, an SMG car or something (which is mounted behind the radiator) and retrofit that. But to do that I would have to take out the engine fan. It's a big damn mess. :dunno:

Aren't you suppose to swap your auto fan for a manual fan?

Yup second that, from what I have read, with the auto's you have to get a manual fan.

it costs about $200.
I had my engine fan replaced with the electric fan here the part no:
17 11 7 525 508
it should be available from any Bmw dealer. It comes with the housing hence it is easy to install
