Are you switching your registration? If not then don't worry about it. MA cops are not going to stop you for not having a front plate if you have out of state tags. NH doesn't require a front plate so there are tons of cars running around without front plates.

I don't run a front plate (MA tags) and was in MA for several years with only minor incident.

MD actually requires a front license plate too...but as far as enforcement goes, cops in MA nor MD don't seem to care, if you're in the city anyway; I'm in MA/MD all the time myself and never had a front license plate on any of my cars.

stage 2 is plainly awesome.....although i never knew what stock felt like because when i bought my car it had the stage 2 software, CAI, exhaust and suspension i put everything else in. i just recently found out about the 3.15 differential. the software gers rid of the governer and rev limiter. the red line is about 6800 rpm and if you redline 1st and 2nd when im shifting to im doing just about 70 mph and trust me it gets there quick..i would get it if i was you.
We'll have to meet up sometime so we can see each others ride.

I have brand new plates, haven't ran a front tag in a month. Nothing happened yet.

Once a cop LOOKED at me for a while, but didn't do anything.

Just get the filler strip for the front plate. And have your front plate in your car. If you get pulled over just say you just got the plate holder, and you are going to install it later today or tomorrow (depending on the time of day you get stopped). Worked for me in my old car.

It all depends where you live in ma. I never had a front tag on any of my cars. If you live in the boston area like me you may get cops bustin them on you but, the way I see it most of us here drive hooked up bmw's and the cops just want to bust them for that anyway. Don't even put it on. Or if you want to be safe dont put it on and say that you ordered it and get the order reciept from the registry and keep the liscense plate order in your glovebox with your registartion. They can't say nothing you ordered it
