Dude,
whatever TV you buy is fine, but DO NOT buy plasma!! Plasma is easily burned, and NOT REPAIRABLE. I suggest you wait till next year and buy larger LCD TV. Plasma will soon off the shelf and be gone. Nobody is buing plasma now, only those who don't know the probelm of it. Just my suggestion, but it's your money.

:wtf:
A plasma is no different than a projection screen TV, properly broken in with normal contrast and you are fine. LCD picture sucks, I hate the screen door effect.
Anyways, back on topic: You might want to try craigslist dude, I've sold stuff really easily on it before.

I am not here to start an argument. But you need to get some knowledge before you talk. Just wait for 1-1.5 year, you will know what i am talking about. Sony has a full warehouse of plasma and having a hard time to sell them Sony has sent twenty engineers to China to learn the technology of LCD because they plan to make LCD and dump the plasma line. Samsung "IS" already making bigger LCD TVs to replace its plasma. I suggest you to do some research or simply call any electronics retailer like Best Buy or Goodguys and ask them about the probelm of plasma...i doubt if they will tell u the truth. They like to lie and bs to ignorant consumer like you. Well before you make "WTF" sign, do some research..because you make yourself like look an idiot, i am sorry to say though.

(Free bump for Chiroppa) (and DLP is nice!)
Please don't contradict yourself...
Anwyays a fewpoints mr koHee:
1. You make a bunch of handwaiving arguments.
2. I can guarantee you Sony doesn't have a warehouse full of inventory, you don't sound like a manufacturing man, but there is something called just in time mfg these days.
3. I am not a consumer, I have been involved with home theater OEM and resellers for over 10 years.
4. Burn in has always been an issue, if you want guidance go here:

Chiroppa, good luck on the sale. Your TV is one good deal especially while both plasma and LCD are expensive still. Someone should jump on this deal. bump for you

I feel sorry for you if you are a TV retailer and not knowing all the problems of the products you sell. You simply just don't know what it's going on out there, and obviously not worth of my time to argue. Yes, you are right that I am not a manufacture man, but my friends are. I have a friend who works for a Taiwan company that based in Los Angeles. The company sells LCD board to Samsung in Korea. Not sure if you have heard AU Optronic. Another of my friend and his uncle work for Sony. They just had an TV conference (not sure what it was called) meeting in San Jose over the weekend with all the world top manufacturers. I can GURANTEE you that Sony is having a hard time selling the plasmas. Believe or not, it's up to you. Good luck with you business. You seem to not knowing what type of business you are into.

I have to agree with KoHee. Plasmas are having a lot of problems and they are definitely overpriced in my opinion. So far DLP seem to be the best thing to buy.
Anyways, NICE TV!!! If I lived in NY I would take that TV in a heart beat.
