Well after bringing my car to autobahn to get some rattles fixed they ended up basically doing nuthing and breaking on of my storage compartments. Oh yea, and they had my ar for a week :thumbdwn:

Moritz on the other fixed a **** load of things on my car(im going to college in the middle of nowhere so i need everything fixed). I live in texas and my windshield rubber surround on the outside was dry rotting so i had them fix that(cpo warranty). I had them replace the little feltish moulding around the inside of the drivers side door(cpo warranty). Replace the passenger side back up light(trunk) that leaked water when it was washed(cpo warranty). Fixed rattle in the passenger side door due to speaker moisture barrier(i think that was a tsb). Replace the little storage compartment that AUTOBAHN broke(cpo warranty). While it was there the ignition broke or sumthing, sumthing to do with it reading the key, so they fixed that(cpo warranty). Replaced my chipping hood roundel that AUTOBAHN did not replace(cpo warranty). Thats all i can think of now, but im shure there was more.

MORITZ service=

AUTOBAHN service= :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:

They also replaced my oil level sensor that was causing the low oil light to come on.

Well a few things ive noticed....They replaced both the driver and passenger side door seals(dunno why) but in doing so sumthing got screwed up and the driver side window wasnt closing properly, which they fixed. In doing that they removed the weather stripping i had put inbetween the door(metal) and the interior door panel(leathery stuff).

Im so tired of BMW service. I think i spend more time fixinging their mistakes then they do working on my car.

Im in a hurry so excuse my craptacular writing.

Moritz is ok. They just relocated their service department to a bigger location and I guess they have a better garage now. The time they kept my car for their servicing was noticably shorter than before their shop change. w00t.

However service at Autobahn for me was exceptional. I just go to Moritz since it's closer. Ahh, whatever works, I suppose.

I guess no one will ever take care of and love our cars like we do. I used to take my car to the stealership. And then I got tired of shabby service and brought it to my trusted mechanic. And then I bought a Bentley manual and realized I could do a better job of maintenance and repair than my trusted mechanic. Now, my bimmer doesn't have to leave the garage to get better!

All future fixes and mods to be done at home, and with the help of any e46 fanatic who works for beer!
