No. The CCA drive is a different event.

Lookout Mother Nature our run to MOUNTAIN TWISTIES “2nd attempt” will be August 28th….she won first time but it can’t snow in August can it ???

August 28th is the new date for the snow delayed Mountain Twisties Run. Originally scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, a freak snowstorm closed one of the key roads and we were delayed. But in August we should be safe from a recurrence and if we get snowed out in August it just wasn’t meant to be. If you’re new to this discussion the Mountain Twisties tour is a tour of arguably the finest driving roads in the country all within a long days drive of Seattle.

The attraction is not the scenery although that is quite nice too…the attraction is the roads….twisting with corner upon corner you get to drive your Bimmer the way it really shines…these roads are too good to leave to the sport bikers…bring your bimmer and a second driver in case you tire…full of gas with extra $$$ for distant refills…you’ll need water and perhaps a sack lunch since we have yet to discover a decent restaurant. We’ll leave from Eastside Bavarian in Issaquah Saturday morning after a brief drivers meeting.
So arrive at 8:30am for driver’s meeting and socialize with first car out at 9am. Long day of strenuous driving…you’ll be back around 6 pm at best.
