guys if u had a choice between a centrifigul supercharger at 7-8psi or a turbo setup at 7-8psi which one would produce more horsepower?

turbo because it uses unused energy whereas a supercharger uses pulleys and thus drains hp from the engine, centrifugal superchargers are no good for gas engines anyways, wait for a turbo, or if a positive displacement supercharger like a twinscrew comes out, highly doubt it though heh. :thumbup:

well why would a centrfigul be bad for gas engines? Also i have a roots style supercharger installed on my 2002 318i 2.0L it was all custom but not happy with the end results! Im thinking of getting a custom turbo setup done!

why dont you get a stock 330 instead of trying to boost performance on a 318I?

i mean even if you supercharged it or turbocharged it correctly you will be roughly around the performance area of a stock 330.
