finally snapped, do i have to order a specific belt or can i just cut it and pick one up locally thats the same length??? TIA, by the way it's off a Vortech based unit running 7 psi.

In theory you should be able to get a belt the same length. You try contacting ERT?

just so you guys know ERT no longer exists. I take my car to European Performance, in Elsmere Delaware. They have a couple guys working there that used to work for ERT. I deal with John, that guys know everything. Great shop :thumbup: they installed my cams, headers, and coils.

We'll it finally popped, mentioned earlier it broke but it was just badly frayed, any idea where I can pick up the belt guys?? Any part number or just do as suggested and go find one of the same length?? TIA

Craig. Look at the busted belt. There should be a model number on it. I would guess most autoparts could get you the belt as long as you know the model number.

You can also just take the old belt to a parts store and have them measure it for you. All you need is a belt with the same ribs (might be standard?) and of the same lenght.
