Present the Pacific NW End of Summer Dyno Event

At our last dyno event in December, we had 150 people show up, 30 cars dyno, and 30 free pizzas gone in 20 minutes. This time, we are going to blow that away. This September 18th and 19th event will consist of two days of dyno runs, plenty of free food to go around, and the chance to see some of the fastest cars in the area put down some serious numbers. All 2WD cars and trucks are welcome to participate - we want to see EVERY type of vehicle on the rollers from stock 4 cylinder imports to heavily modified V8 domestics. If you've never seen a 1000hp car or a 1000ft-lb diesel truck on the rollers, you won't want to miss this event. Our dyno is capable of measuring 1800whp and 1800wtq.

If anyone can max out our dyno, EVERYONE dynos for free!

Pricing: $25 for 3 pulls

To sign up, call TorqueFreaks at (503) 256-5600 x 4.

Just a reminder to everyone - this event is THIS Saturday and Sunday. We have over 50 cars signed up but there are still a few spots left for those who are thinking about running their car on the rollers. Call (503)-256-5600 x 4 to reserve one of the final spots.

We're shutting down our shop on Friday to prepare for this massive event. 5000 sqft of space will be allocated inside for people to watch the cars and socialize. We'll have 3-4 BBQs going with free burgers and hot dogs for everyone. We even have a few veggie burgers for the non-carnivores among us :)

If anyone needs directions, feel free to give us a call or check out the map on our website - http://www.torquefreaks.com. See you this weekend!

Well it looks like i was the only BMW to go on Saturday. It was a lot of fun seeing the 1000+ hp of the Nova, and the 1000+ torque of the RAM2500. Big thx goes out to Sean, everyone at Torquefreaks are very professional and safety was their number one priority, not to mention being all around nice guys.

My 2004 330Ci posted 199.25 hp to the wheels after 3 runs. I was happy, but hittin the 200 would have been nice, i know one more run and i would have had it cause my runs where steadily increasing in hp as the engine warmed up. But hey, you cant beat 3 runs on a beautiful dyno for 25 bucks!

I strongly suggest next time anyone is in Portland to go check these guys out if you are looking for some dyno tuning.

Thanks for stopping in...I *know* your car would have made 200whp with another pull or two. I'm sorry we had to cut things short :) And thank you for the kind words, we try very hard to make customer service our #1 goal.

For those who didn't make it, we ended up having between 300 and 400 people come through on Saturday with 48 cars dynoing...it was a blast :) Today is a little more laid back, I expect we'll get through 30-40 cars by the end of the day. I'll post a write up of the event on Monday or Tuesday with pictures and maybe a video or two if I can find a host.
