Well I have the SC installed for about 5000kms now and the car has been running exceptionally well. Absolutely no complaints these past 6 or 7 weeks, not a flicker, no Check Engine Lights just pure fun. I decieded to order up some Supersprint Header and the X-pipe to match the rear resonator and muffler from SS I already have and wanted to re-dyno the car before this next round of mods which includes the UUC Sachs power clutch and semi LW flywheel.

My car still needs a little fine tuning as you can see by my afr but made some small adjustments and by runs 4 and 5 you can see the difference. Made some changes to the asatronic and haven't got a chance to hook up a wideband O2 till now, I am going over to my pal's tonight and dial this bad boy back in to the 12.1-12.5 at WOT. Gonna go for a spirited rip this afternoon to allow the ECU to adjust/ re-map then hook up the wideband.

I am very happy with the result's however not too much difference than my last set of runs when I didn't feel the car was running near as well. There is still some power left to put to the wheels once my afr is settled. The infamous 300 rwhp is definitely in reach and with the headers coming :woot: and SK2 near completion I am really hoping to get to around 350 rwhp.

Just some more proof why the ASA is the best and most powerful SC on the market for our cars right now  :woot:

Just a quick background....ambient air temp today was 13 deg C,barometric pressure is 101.9 kPa, dyno was done at Davenport Motorsports here in Calgary  on a dynojet machine. I am also running Husky Ethanol blended 94 octane. We also hooked up a boost gauge and it looked like I was pushing out a little over 7.5psi, give or take with the error in their "shop" gauge, the kit is rated and set up for 6.5psi.

Sorry for the lousey pics, I am waiting for them to email the actual run views but not sure how to upload them from the dynojet runviewer. The runviewer can be downloaded and I can email the files if anyone is interest once I get them.

Dyno run#1: 285.0 rwhp Torque: 248.8 ft/lbs
Dyno run#2: 287.8 rwhp Torque: 254.4 ft/lbs
Dyno run#3: 291.5 rwhp Torque: 254.3 ft/lbs
Dyno run#4: 290.1 rwhp Torque: 260.3 ft/lbs (best afr curve IMHO)
Dyno run#5: 290.6 rwhp Torque: 259.7 ft/lbs

Thanks
Omes.

:yikes: sweet bro.

ASA is putting down some impressive numbers :woot:

What was your asatronic originally set to? what did it end up to after the dyno run?

Thanks Alan, when you gonna get your badboy on the dynojet? Started out at 9 and by run4 I had it set to 6.5 and run 5 set to 5.5 turns, I didn't think it was enough time between runs for the ecu even though we left the car running and reving occaisionally, then cool down time, I think if I remember correctly about 20 engine cycles are required to establish some kinda baseline, was nice to see some adaptation in the short time though, it only gets better from here.

Awesome results!!! I'm glad you're having success w/ the SC. When I had my 330 ci, I installed the ESS SC system, but I didn't get numbers nearly as high as yours. One piece of advice though, if you're going to run your car hard, be sure to always have high octane gas 94 or higher, especially when the weather is warm...you'll avoid pinging/detonation under high boost.

Do you plan to do any formal 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs? If so, please share your results w/ the forum. Again, great numbers on the SC.

Thanks! I try and run 94 all the time but when i am outta town 92 is usually the best i can find.

Gonna try and get it to the track and do some 1/4 mile runs once my new clutch is installed.

Those are some numbers :yikes:

Just wait until SK II is available then throw the ASAtronic in the trash.

Nice Numbers Omes. :yikes:

Seeing all these F/I dyno graphs might just win me over eventually...

ASA seems to be the way to go, huh? Can't wait to see the results after the headers and SK2.

Keep up the good work, and thanks for posting the graphs. The information is invaluable to us.

I would love to see what sort 1/4 and 0-60 of times your running.

Omes,

Was Davenport more reasonable (in terms of cost) than RCTS?

Besides the acceleration numbers, I'm wondering about how your F/I affected your MPG? Might sound dumb but wondering.

Omes,

Reg was so expensive lets just say I did 5 runs today for about third of what my last set of 5 runs cost, Reg is good and you pay for it, but just for some down and dirty #'s Davenport was awesome  I really wanted to hook up for fuel pressure but unfortunately they did not have the correct fitting.

Hey when are we going to hook up and go for a run. PM me, or do you still have my phone #.

ya my fuel economy has not been great i think I get around 250-300 miles per tank of fuel, that is all city though and stomping on it when ever there is free pavement ahead of me :) :woot: I cannot help the hard 2nd gear pulls. :) :str8pimpi

:werd: I got even worse. I am getting around 220 without stomping the gas. :bawling:
I guess it's time to diet.
