Hey Guys.
My car just passed 1000mi, and want to give out some opinion. :hmm:
The sc is doing its job greatly, and I'm really happy with ASA blower.
I've been driving a lot since I got this ultimate mod. :)
The power difference is awesome, and my cruising speed went up from 55 to 80. :craig: and I can still pull more when I need.

I had some bad luck with the install, and some more problem at the beginning :thumbdwn: , but never got any cel :str8pimpi except for o2 sensor(which is not related to s/c)

Now it's time to change the tranny.(Gotta be ready for sk2)
Plus My tranny slips like crazy.

Anyway, all I want to tell you is that I'm really happy with my ASA, and The Ultimate best mod, no regret, every penny I spent is worth it.

Great to hear you got the installation sorted out and are now able to truly enjoy the car.

Good to hear

My kit has been 110% flawless. Stock car driveability with loads more power. So much more fun to drive

I am taking funds now for my ASA kit :) In all seriousness though, if I decide to keep my car, which I probably will, my next mod will be the ASA kit. One question guys, can a 325 Auto trans hold about 300 HP? How much can it handle to the wheels?

I think you should be fine. I know of several ASA'ed 330 step guys without any issues and your car has the same transmission. It really depends on the condition of your transmission and your driving style. Since your after max performance out of your car, I would definitely consider doing a step to manual swap. Just that right there makes a huge difference in performance and fun factor. I wouldn't trade my ASA kit for anything. Its THAT good

Thanks guys. :)
Technik= Please find that list for tranny swap?
Alan= Exactly. It's feels like stock. (m3 :craig: )
malakia12= Yeah. it's def. worth it.

My only complain about ASA is it's so quiet. :hmm:
I want better sound. Maybe time for new exhaust? :dunno:

The compressor unit itself is quiet. Doesn't make a peep at all which is good. Do you get that loud "shhhhhhh" sound when your just cruising? I get that (very audible) and a nice Pshhhh when i shift. If not, i would double check your vaccum lines and make sure RPM installed your bypass valves the right way. I heard from the 1.8t VW guys that you could install the bypass valves both ways with one being more quiet. Not sure if its true. I installed mines according to the ASA/Rennsport instructions.

Like juniorstuidio said, can someone make a list needed for tranny swap. I'm considering it now. Main question is whether 5-speed or 6-speed.

Off-topic, I hear from a friend with a supercharger (not ASA) that the 6-speed M3 tranny is horrible compared to the 330 tranny because the M3 has some sort of dual drive shaft and the 330 tranny would last long? So my question is to get a 5/6-speed 330 tranny or a 6-speed M3 tranny? Any input would be nice.

juniorstudio> I am glad to hear you say that the charger is quiet. My car is so loud with headers and cams, that I do not need even a single dB more of noise added to my car

I would get one from 330.
But 6 speed is a lot of money though.
Almost twice the price for one extra gear.

Alan, Like I said before, I want to meet up with you, and compare the sound.
I hear some sound, but want it louder.

Maybe I am going deaf from loud music. :yikes:

So are you going to get a 5-speed or a 6-speed? I mean Samir uses a 5-speed in his black beast, but the red ZHP uses 6-speed - which is standard with the car. So I'm confused.

After My car's done, I will be senior. :str8pimpi :lmao:

azn2k4- I am going with 5-speed. I just can't spent 1000 for one gear probably I'm not going to use it that much. :thumbdwn:
BTW, I'm thinking about getting new from dealer unless if I can find a decent one. :hmm:
I got hook up. :woot:
