I was next to this black Mitsubishi EVO. It looked fairly stock with the exeption of an aftermarket exhaust.
We were taking a left turn from a 3-lane street onto a 2-lane street. He was on the inner lane, i was right next to him on the outer. Light turned green and he took off. I punched it and lost traction for a moment, powersliding trough the turn. He was 2 cars ahead of me when my S0'3's hooked up. Shift to 2nd. BAMM!! I started gaining on him. When I shovelled in the 3rd gear I was neck to neck with him and finally blew past him taking it up to about 90mph. At that time he was 2-3 cars behind. I guess I showed him what ASA is all about. :craig: The best part is that I had my top down. Talk about a sleeper... :thumbup:
I thought those EVO's were fast. Well it actually was fast, but I guess I was just faster. :dunno:
And for the record, I know that he was not an EVO poser. It was the real thing. :str8pimpi
