I searched over and over, I could only find them on JDM or Hotrods. Does anyone have any experience w/ MSD ignition? So far I've found a CCA member who had a 540i 6sp using msd.
Thanks in advance for the info... :hi:

E46 uses 6 coils right on the plugs. Plasma Coils are the only upgrade I know of.
I don't think MSD makes a box that will work.

AA uses a MSD Ignition system on certain Stage x turbo kits. Because MSD doesnt have any 6 channel boxes AA modifies it so that the BMW 6 cylinder ignition setup runs a waste spark pattern rather than sequtential firing. Basically 2 ignition coils from 2 cylinder will fire at the same time. Of course only one cylinder with the A/F mixture will be burned.
I know they have a kit for the E36 models but not sure for the E46.

You might also want to consider the HKS Twin Power DLI as an alternative to the MSD
