Just thought i would pass along some info guys....
I ordered up the M-300 wideband controller with bosch sensor and digital readout. There are some other really nice options out there but there is just not enough room to mount everything i want to see. I thought of the AEM one but it taking up space in my gauge bracket.....need someone to build a bracket to house 4 gauges!
I ordered up the leather z bracket for my sunglasses holder and have boost, egt and oil pressure installed there. So where the heck do i put wideband or oil temp if i wanted it.
There are so few options for A-pillar mounts for our cars and they look cheesy, Solid the verdict is still up in the air with the one you ordered I can't wait to see. I myself personally have beat the sh1t out of the gauges thread so.....
I decieded to go with the M-300 and mount it in my ashtray, i was hoping to save that spot for xm radio but i think this is a little more important.
IMHO this is the best $350 (shipped to Canada) that i have spent on my SC'd system.
here is a link to the site and they have a video of it running in an S2000 : puke: but it is a good indication of how quickly this thing samples the AFR.
The unit should mount nicely in the ashtray and maybe have to look at a custom finshing piece for it but that maybe later down the line.
The guys at PLX (paul and sam) were great to talk to and they have a pdf of the installation manual online. All you need is power/ground and a bung welded in pre-cat, other than that it is plug and play.
They also have the M-500 controller, wireless and can monitor 6 variables if properly tied to the ecu....awesome set up but don't feel like driving around with my laptop in my car. Vin you should seriously get this since you have on board PC! that would be so pimp (not that you aren't already but none the less) :str8pimpi
