How would you guys like to do this? So far, I've heard two options that we can do. As said in the other thread:
1. Meet up at our usual (meaning last two) meeting place @ the Costco/Target parking lot and do a caravan to FFX Towne Center.
or
2. Meet up at FFX Towne Center early at a designated time. Then we all go downstairs and have a bite to eat before the show starts. This way we can have all our BMWs parked together at the same location.
thoughts?

ok, here we go again! the last one i think had close to 400 cars at it and lets make this one even better!
On Friday October 1st at Fairfax town Center @ 8pm there will be a meet. Please spead this around to all the boards you know. Just remember don't do anything that could get anyone in trouble, revving, peeling out, and so forth.Remember, get the word out, we want this to be HUGE! Just copy and paste all of this or link it to other forums
Once you arrive there please go directly to the basement or roof top.
Please clean up after yourselves and do not leave trash sitting around everywhere.
WE HAVE PERMISSION TO BE THERE AND THE POLICE MAY OCCASIONALLY COME THROUGH TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OK SO LONG AS EVERYONE IS COOL WE WILL HAVE NO TROUBLE. WHEN GOING UP AND DOWN THE RAMPS DO NOT SPEED OR MAKE LOTS OF NOISE
DIRECTIONS
Take rt. 50 then from rt. 50 take the West Ox rd. SOUTH exit. after you take the exit the shopping center and garage will be on your right.
Once again, copy and paste this to the other forums you belong to so we can have another great turnout

I suggest we meet up at the usual Target parking lot at 7pm and drive together from there? OR If the Target location is off for some folks, we can meet somewhere close to the Mall (like in front of SEARS) and then drive up to the garage so we all can park our cars together. Just a thought

Sure, DragVA is just a forum out there talking about anything and everything about the car scene in our state. The forum is for all types of car makes, but most of the cars on there seem to be japanese imports. There are some specialized regional forums though, for the NoVA area, or '757' areas. That's where the meets are organized. Here's a link to the DragNoVA sub-forum (http://dragva.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16). The past few Drag meets are posted in there, all you gotta do is sort out through all the other junk. I just discovered DragVA a couple months ago, my first impression was that they were all just flaming away at each other and didn't post any relevant information. Some of the people on the board are ricers, but a majority do have nice cars. I don't believe there are sponsors for this particular event, except for the fact that the building manager did let them organize this meet. One of the dragva members talked to the manager a while ago, and said he was interested in the car scene around the area, and he's willing to let all of us borrow his parking garage for the dragva meets. Check out the site.

Not that there's anything wrong with the mall idea, it's just that they have security monitoring the place constantly and the likelihood that we'd be asked to leave within 5-10 min of being there is pretty high. I doubt Target is going to kick us out of their parking lot. Then again, that's what I thought about Costco.

It's a very informal meet, sort of like what we were doing during the BMW meet only it encompasses all kinds of cars and alot more people. There's Police there so it doesn't get out of hand. Let's just say that there are a few "unique" rides there, some of them are down right amusing.

Haha :str8pimpi , either one will do. If you want to stand out more, I'm guessing the Cayenne TT would get more attention, since there's not really a large amount of Porsche attendence, if any.

I'd rather meet at Fairfax Towne Center, or at least near it since Chantilly is so far from where I am. I don't think a lot of the people on the DC side of fairfax want to go out to Chantilly just to come back the way they came.

I thought they were both down the road for each other?? :dunno:
Yeah lets just meet at the FFX Towne Center say maybe 7 oclock or earlier to secure our spots. Its a more central location for MD, VA, and DC than Chantilly

At the actual meet location on the top floor of the garage if the weather is nice or in the basement if it is not.

Very close to Fair Oaks Mall. The parking garage is behind the Tower Records builidng and is attached to the movie theater. If this all gets too confusing for you all, we can just meet somewhere around there
