Hi everyone, I am thinking about buying a BMW 330i. I live in Orlando, FL and since there is only one BMW dealership in Orlando I wanted to ask a couple of questions about the dealership.

1) Is it a good dealership to buy from?

2) How is their service? Do they treat you right? Are they friendly?

3) Are they good at fixing cars?

4) Do they provide you with BMW loaner cars if you buy from them?

For anyone that has dealt with this dealership I would appreciate any advise you can give me.

Thanks in advance

Here are my thoughts....

1) Depends...I first went there to shop around but the salesperson I talked to had an attitude and didn't want to negotiate...I ended up buying my bmw
at Daytona (Lynch Imports). I think that salesperson no longer works there.

2) Their service is allright...also depends on the sales advisor, but overall they treated me good for someone that didn't buy the car there.

3) I guess. They've fixed whatever I had to take it everytime. Also, they have another service center at John Young Pkwy.

4) Yes. Sucks because I didn't buy the car there so no loaner for me.

Bad thing is this is the only dealership in Orlando so not much choice to shop around. Free car wash on Saturdays.

I had a great experience,

I live in south Florida (W. Palm Beach) and our dealership is Braman, which is probably the most stuck up dealership I've ever seen. And worse of all they are non negotiable and even add $1000 to the window sticker for their "paint protection" which one of the service advisors said was only them waxing the car.
None the less a good friend of mine recommened I call Fields and speak with Carlos Kirigin. I spoke with him on the phone, told him what I wanted, and gave him a number to call me back at. He called back a few hours later, offered me a very attractive price, and I ordered the car. There was none of that pushy saleman type sales, he just basically took good care of me and tryed to make the transaction go as hassle-free as possible.
B/c I wanted a white coupe, with black leather, and SMG and since this was a few months after the introduction of SMG, the car had to be special ordered. After the car was ordered he called me with the vehicles tracking number so I could follow it through production on the website. The day after the car arrived at the dealership it was prepared and delivered to my house in W Palm Beach on a flatbed-towtruck at no additional charge to me. The driver had me sign a few papers, took the check for payment, and brought down the car (it only had 3 miles on it). About 7 months later I was in Orlando for a vacation, I stopped by the dealership to get a carwash and say hi, Carlos still remembered my name and exactly what I bought and pushed my car to the front of the line for the carwash. I have to say this was the best car buying experience I've had.

For your questions
1&2 I think it is great place to buy a car, probably b/c I had a good salesman. But I really have no complaints about my limited experience with the dealership.
3 No experience
4 From what I've heard, yes.

P.S. I believe Carlos Kirigin has a website, it's http://www.carloskirigin.com (I think the Flash version has more info than the HTML version)
If you go there mention Steven Stejskal from W Palm Beach sent you, I'm friends with his niece, so maybe you'll get a deal or something. He gave me his direct work number b/c he says he's always running around, it's 407-628-2793.

Good Luck with new purchase
Steve

feel you on the braman issue...i HATE that place...with a few exceptions everyone there prioritizes you by what car you drive...with a 3 series there I was always last priority

I've never purchased from them, but I've taken my car there for service a few times. I don't quite like the salesmen (I was checking for a new 330i zhp), but there is a nice, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Dinan guy named Dennis Ferguson. Very, very nice guy - I'd speak to him if possible. I went in there looking to upgrade my ECU to Dinan software and he took time to explain exactly what it was and how it might be better for me to just save up and go to performance driving school. He's very broad-minded. I don't quite like their service department, they're a bit stuck up/slow brained - however their parts department is great, especially Raul Santos. Just trying to give you a jist of my experience with them. Moving from NYC where they had like 5 dealers located within reasonable travel distance, and living down in Orlando (temporarily for now) is like going from the city to the boondocks.

I thought I read somewhere that Fields was one of the highest rated BMW dealers in FL...
