Hello everyone, I'm looking to see what I can get for my Rolex Datejust, the head is stainless and band is stainless as well. The diamond bezel is white gold and they are 100% real diamonds of amazing quality and clarity. This Rolex is 100% authentic GUARANTEED !! I dont have the papers or box for this just like many other used Rolexes. Need cash for other investments, so my loss is your gain.

This will fetch just over $2500 at my jeweler, if I cant get more for it here I will just sell it to them. Please PM me offers. Thanks !!

P.S- The bezel is obviously changeable if this is not your taste ...

Can we go through escrow ? 2500 is not a lot but it is if the watch isnt real.

I have never done escrow .. is that like a third party that holds the money ?? Let me know how it would work. Thanks.

Yea thats usually how it works. It makes it safe for the seller and the buyer. Instead of sending you the money. Ill send it to an escrow company that we agree on. Then when they receive the payment ill get the watch and if everything is good with both parties they send you the payment via bank account or payment of your choice. They charge a small fee.

Well what stops you from lying to them and saying it's fake and them not sending me the money ?? No offense to you, but I have to cover my a$$ as well .. LOL

if he claims its fake...they usually take back the items and return it to the owner..and you mostly likely still have to pay their fee.

Located in Florida ... bought this used with no papers either. Most used Rolexes dont have papers these days anyways. And this watch is a mid to early 90's model.

P.S- If the buyer calls fake and pulls a switch on the authentic then where does that leave me ?? There just seems to be many problems with selling online ... :dunno:

I sold mine a month ago. All you need to do is take the braclet off and look at the serial # on top and the model # on bottom. Also look for a serial# on the braclet.

Looks real to me. Post pics of the #'s and the back of the watch.

Good luck w/the sale.

Need to know the model # and prod. # (do not put the entire prod. number on the web, use X's for the last three digits, just need to make sure you represent enough digits to place year of manu.). Is it sapphire crystal? Is it quickset? The diamond bezel appears to be aftermarket, correct? All of these things make a huge difference in terms of value.

I'm going to have to get the numbers for you tommorow ... as for the other questions. The bezel is aftermarket but they are real diamonds and white gold, it is Sapphire crystal, and it is quickset.

I think you are on to something.... I think he has a fake watch EXACTLY like yours that he has been sitting on for years now and he saw this opportunity to upgrade to the real deal and he has come up with a flawless plan. Good thing you caught him!

*sniff sniff* this smells fishy. I wouldn't buy this UNLESS it was thru an escrow-type service.

My $.02.

LOL ... I'm covering my bases like any other seller would. I already told you all I would show the serial numbers but nobody wants them. So it seems selling something of this magnitude online is nearly impossible without running into some type of problem. Anyways, no sweat I will sell it localy.

the watch is pre 1990 model. b/c of the wholes on the side of the watch, where the band meets the watch. :)

but that's beside the point...

...what I suggest is to conduct the transaction between 2 Rolex authorized jewelers. They would most likely charge a small fee but will certify authenticiy on both sides of the deal. They verify it's real on the sellers end, send it to the jeweler on the buyers end, he certifies it and then the deal can go through.

Chances of the jewelers getting involved in fraud are minimal.

Hey Zack .. whats been going on man !! As you may have heard I left South Florida due to some complications, but I'm currently in Central. FL for a bit. I go back and fourth from the Philippines and here so it kinda sucks. But ya man, hopefully if you ever make it to Central. FL drop me a PM, and if I'm in town we can chill.

As for the watch, well I dont think I will be selling it here, a ton of people giving me the run-around and wasting my time so I'll just sell it to one of my jewelers. Thxs to all for looking !!
