The monitor:
Brand new Dell 20.1" 2001FP Ultrasharp LCD
1600x1200 native resolution
.255mm pixel pitch
16ms response time (great for gaming)
Asking $650, or $1900 if you want the computer and LCD together.
I'd prefer to sell to someone local so we don't have to worry about shipping, but I'm willing to ship if you're willing to cover the shipping costs. I'm also open to offers and won't be offended if you lowball me (just don't be offended if I say no). :P

Sorry, as of right now I'm still pretty firm on the LCD price. I'm also going to check it for dead/stuck pixels later today so I can sell it comfortably (I know I'd hate to buy an LCD with bad pixels).

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I'm looking for some 18" wheels (preferably Hamann PG2s)... so I would be willing to work out a trade as well.

I thought the monitor was "new" why wonder about dead pixles?
If you come down on the price and would be willing to delivery, I will be interested.
I have a set of rims and tires for the right trade:
Breyton Magic racing-19x9, 19x10
The centers were powdercoated black.
The lips were fully polished.
Bridgestone S02 with 50% tread
Also have 15mm Rougue Spacers for the rears.

1600x1200 = 1920000 pixels * 3 (each pixel is made up of 3 sub-pixels: red, green and blue) = 5760000 ... even if quality control requires 99.9999% of the sub-pixels to be good, that would only account for ~5759994 good sub-pixels.
If you've ever bought an LCD before, you'll know that a dead or stuck pixel is very possible... I just figured it'd be easier for me to check and deal with Dell personally, prior to the sale, (if there is a problem at all) to make it a better overall experience for whoever wants to buy it.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to check it yet and I don't have the box with me, so I'll try to check it in the morning...

I don't know where you can get that processor and video card for $300... last time I checked newegg, the processor alone was $279. Sure, it might be $300 to upgrade an existing Dell configuration with them, but that says nothing of the total worth.
As for your configuration for $1160, I don't see where there's 30% off of this system. I just went to Dell's site and I see this:
2-Day Sale: Up to 30% of Desktops!
Purchase: Get:
Dimension XPS desktops 30% Off Instantly!
Dimension 8400 desktops 15% Off Instantly
Dimension 4700C, 4700, 4600, 3000 or 2400 desktops 10% Off Instantly
I then configured a system exactly like the one I'm selling and I get this:
Qty 1
Pentium® 4 Processor 550 with HT Technology (3.40GHz, 800 FSB), Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition Unit Price $1,813.00
Dell Home Customers: Save 15% off the Dell Dimension 8400!
Limited Time Offer! - $271.95
Total Price
Sub-total $1,541.05
Shipping $99.00
Shipping Discount -$99.00
Tax $127.15
Total Price $1,668.20
So, again, I don't know how you're getting the prices you're getting... but maybe this particular system is not for you.
Why are you selling? Why not just return it to dell if you just bought it?
Dell had a promotion recently where you could get 40% off of an order over $2499. I configured this system and added two 20.1" LCDs. One of the LCDs was only $579 to add on (before coupon) and I believe the other was full price ($850 before coupon). My total, after coupon/shipping/tax was about $2300. So, having used the coupon, I was able to get one of the LCDs for about $350 and now I'm trying to sell the other LCD and the system for the price I paid (including the coupon discount). $2300 - $650 - $350 = $1300. That's what I'll sell the computer for.
I originally posted it at $1400 after having seen the going price for it on Dell's website (in the $1600s), but there you go, that's what I paid and what I'm trying to accomplish. Is it fair? I think so. Is $1900 for both the computer and the LCD a good deal? Again, I think so. But maybe I'm wrong. Either way, I think I can get those numbers for them, so I'm not planning on dropping the prices in the next day or two... this was a feeler, and I guess it was the wrong crowd (no disrespect at all is implied... hell, I'm a computer programmer and I'm running on an AMD 2500+... I'd rather save my money for more mods on the car ;)).

Dell has been having crazy good deals for the last few weeks. Rumor's are that they are trying to bump up there sales for the quarter, which ends Sunday, so you can except some other crazy good deals before the end of the week.
As always anyone looking to buy something from a 3rd party should check ebay first to see what a good price is.

I ordered a similar system when Dell had that 40% off $2500+ deal. D8400, P4 3.2GHz, 1GB 533MHz RAM, Dual Drive: 16x DVD-ROM and 16x DVD+-RW, Nvidia 6800 GTO 256MB Vid, Audigy 2 Sound with Firewire, Dell 5.1 Speakers, 250GB HD, 20" Ultrasharp LCD for around $1650. So looks like you are trying to make $250 in profits. Nothing wrong with that though, just thought people should know Dell sometimes gives better deals if they are patient enough.

I've had 3 Dells. I have upgraded everything (memory, vid card, sound card, harddrive, DVD-RW drive, added USB2.0, Firewire) on my old PCs except for the CPU. The problem with CPU upgrade is that often it's not worth it. When a much faster or advanced chip comes out, it often involves a whole new chipset which means replacing the whole motherboard. Sure you can bump the chip a few tenth of a Gigahertz (like upgradeing from 3.0GHz to 3.6GHz). But the real worthwhile upgrades (ie: skipping generations) often involve new motherboards.
