i took my car to toe limit...136....but i didnt get caught then...i got caught goin bout 115 but it was on the way to a VERY important family matter...the cop understood...and let me go...my uncle had to come drive me tho...i could drive the car...so now i got a good laywer since it's criminal...and the trial is in JAN...they're gonna drop the wreckless cuz i wasnt swerving or anything and hopefully they can drop it down to below 100 or below 86...cuz 21 over is criminal

Unbelievable kids with 2 months of driving experince are given M3s and doing 130mph, no wonder the car insurance is so high in this country. A 17 year old just killed a guy 2 streets down my work blowing a stop sign.

Do you know at what speeds and what radius will your car loose control?
Untill you learn the limits of your car dont attemp these things in public roads.

at 130mph any little switch in the steering wheel or oil patch or pothole in the road will literally kill you.

Topped out my NSX in 6th gear on slight downhill on I-15 North going towards Vegas... Anyone who has made the drive knows what straightaway I am talking about... I would think I hit 170+ mph, but maybe more... Topped out the speedo though... Car had ARC Intake Box, Comptech Headers, Comptech TestPipes, B&B TriFlo Exhaust, and DALI Hot Chip so it could breathe pretty well at high RPM...

You make think otherwise, but you have no driving experience. I'm 19 and even I know my driving is far from being experienced, and I've been to BMW and other advanced driving school things.

I blame the parents for allowing their kids to drive such fast cars as a first car. Everybody knows you are like fish out of water for the first year, and you will most likely have an accident if you live in a high population area due to lack of experience. I would never never never let my kid drive a high performace rear wheel driver car as a first car. You know they are gonna take a turn too fast and wrap around a tree. Irresponsible act if you ask me.

Call me an old fashined guy but 16 yolds are not ment to drive these cars.

I remember test driving a piece of **** like that once. Wasn't this the one in Santa Cruz? Driving in the Santa Cruz curves was pretty chill but it sucked since I burnt the clutch a little :). I hit a fat ass bump in Capitola. I wonder if ruined the suspension? Oh well, it wasn't my car..... That car looks so familiar.

-First of all, you guys are right that most teenagers get into accidents and i don't have that much driving experience although i had been driving my M3 for 2 weeks and i had gotten to know the car. I probably won't go that fast for a while but it was fun!! :yikes: I was in the top of 4th gear and i slowed down with open road in front of me. (top was down). 140+ in a 1972 Dodge Polara Special (Hardtop Coupe). The speedometer only went to 140, and when I hit 140 it was still pulling hard. That car was heavy enough that it did not do all that at great take-off, but high-end was another story. We had finally gotten the 360 HP that I had a friend of mine build broken in (it had a plain 360 originally), and I wanted to see what it would do. After a few seconds of having the needle buried, the front wheels started vibrating excessively, so I got a little nervous and started slowing down.

I hit 135 on I-10, after crossing into AZ from CA, and didn't yet hit the governor. I'm not sure what the 325i (`02) govern's out at, but I started to slow down when I thought I saw a Crown Vic in the distance ahead of me. Turned out to be a false alarm.
I had just bought the car, and was very suprised at how quickly the car jumped from 70, to 100, and up to 135, especially for being a humble little 325i. :thumbup:

Hmmm... Topped out the speedo in my old car (below), 6-Spd NSX with almost every mod made for the car in it... I was racing a Diablo from Las Vegas Boulevard to Paradise on Tropicana here in Las Vegas. We were going from a rolling start, from about 60mph to whatever my car topped out at, which I think was bout 170-180?... Believe it or not, from 60 til I was hitting my top-end, we were deadeven. Not even a little pull from either car. If it was from a standstill he would've ate me alive, thank God I was in my powerband and waiting for him, not the other way around. I thought I was going to get smoked. It was like hitting on a beautiful girl and thinking you were going to get shot down then you actually bang her that nite... Very unexpected. Hopeful, but unexpected... :craig:
