I got this Tivo as a gift from my sister but i found out the hard way that my cable company isn't compatable with tivo service and i have to get it specially programmed for it to work. This is the 80hr Series2 model that comes in the orange box. I opened it to try to set it up and then put it back in the box. This is brand new. Make me an offer.. I'm located in NY/NJ so i'd prefer someone local if possible

yeah.. my sister says she won't watch live tv after using her tivo because she doesn't have the patience to wait through the commercials anymore.. definately a cool concept to watch 2 hours of tv in half the time..

anyways.. for reference, the tivo goes for $300 before rebates.. i'm willing to trade so pm me any offers for trades or cash..

it isn't set up at all.. i think it's $12 per month or $300 for lifetime sub.. i actually received a gift sub that's good for 3 months but i'm not sure if that's transferable..

that's abit too low.. this isn't a used tivo.. it's brand new in the box.. pm me with offers as i'll probably just let this go to the highest reasonable offer..

With original purchase receipt anyone who buys it could still qualify and submit for the $100 rebate on top of getting a great price?

It's "The Tivo Box" 80 hr unit.. it's the orange box if that helps.. the model number is tcd24008a.. it's compatable with broadband ethernet which i think is a newer feature..

i doubt it as this was purchased a few months ago.. either way.. $150 is LESS than this would be brand new AFTER rebate..

It's compatable with almost all cable services.. i spent 3 weeks going back and forth with customer service as they were confused why my channel line up wouldn't match any of their records.. i found out that my building has some type of independent sat cable service.. if you have any of the major normal services, you should be fine..
