Im wanting to take the governor off my 2005 m3 but i don't know what kind of chip to get. Alot of places sell the Shark Injector but to me it looks like a piece of ****. Also roughly what does adding one of these chips add? Anything horsepower wise?

My experience with chipping my car wasnt a good one. Hence i'd never recommend it. Sure it will remove the speed limiter(which already is 155Mph you'd never be near that speed with todays traffic conditions) and increase your throttle response and may slightly increase your redline(but with the M3 already near 8000rpm do you really need that?) Lastly as long as power is concerned you will be lucky to get any noticible power increase, specially since the M comes so well tuned from stock.

Anyways I know shark & superchips are available for our cars. Could try either of them if you are interested.
