Samir !!!!!! In the s/w page, the link to differential brought me to PowerChip site ?????? WTF ?

may not happen in all link, but this one does: http://www.technikpower.com/catalog/engine/ecu/bmw/E46/323/

Error aside, may I ask if you are actually distributing their software ?

wished the Stage II S/C for the 330 was more than just 15HP more than the stage I. 15 HP for $1000... :dunno:

it should be a true stage 2... putting down 50HP or so more than a Stage I...

the M3 Stage II is gonna be tha ****... thats a true Stage II...

are they rebuilding the motor like Evosport? Im sure they have to reduce compression to run 15psi...? how are they doing it?

If they run 15psi on a stock compression e46 m3 motor, they will revolutionize the world.

congrats on the new site, looks very nice

Thanks for pointing that out. Must have been a cached hyperlink from my browser that got linked by mistake. This is a temporary site...a better one will be up in a few months once we are fully operational.

lol, I don't think we can break the laws of thermodynamics.

The S2 kit for the M3 will include revised bottomend (pistons and most likely rods)...no way around that.

Are the diffs that you are offering LSD? ANd also, whats the turn around time if I send in the core?

samir@technik
02-02-2005, 05:26 PM
The only LSD we offer is the 3.62 option, which is a retrofit kit using the E46 M3's LSD. We don't offer the Torsen LSD anymore for the standard E46 diffs, since the cost/labor involved to install the LSD did not make sense when compared to the 3.62 retrofit.

MS45 is a tough nut to crack, but our software tech is working on it...that and Bosch ME9.2.

EDIT: The reason for the delay in MS45 isn't so much due to the code itself, but rather the ability to deliver software serially (flash). Once this is worked out, the software willl be released shortly.

i know i already asked this question, but why does the 8PSI 323 SK2 info on the site say 315HP, when the AUTO 323 7.5PSI dyno sheet shows 314HP? Being conservative on the official numbers on the site?

samir@technik
02-02-2005, 10:19 PM
Given the variances in engine strength, we felt 315HP @ 8psi was a reasonable figure. Most of the Stage 2 numbers have been understated, since we're still perfecting the software for 8psi.

Question...

If I have a UUC TSE3 exhaust, I don't need to get anything other than that if I were to go with a S/C right? I'm starting to heavily consider the Stage2 kit when I start my job in the summer since I'll finally have a legit income. Installation I know is around $1,000 but what other costs are associated with it all? Gauges? What kind of gauges are best to have? Etc. I'm basically trying to 1) Get a list of necessary stuff to S/C, and then 2) figure out pricing from there.

Wassup Jared!

Gauges = Greddy!

I think a new clutch would be nice, to handle all that power thrown at it.

The DME needs to be reset to "manual-mode". Then the MIL won't be on. But even with the MIL, there is no limp mode.
