Hey guys, I'm selling my Canon EOS Digital Rebel body + remote switch for $600.
The body is in excellent condition. I bought it on Christmas 2003. Never has problems and performs excellent. I also installed the firmware hack that unlocks features that aren't supposed to be in 300D such as mirror lock, FEC, ISO 3200, etc. I've been using the hack for 6 months and never had any problem.
The reason for selling is I just upgraded to 20D.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I might put it on eBay tomorrow.

Would you sell me the remote switch seperately?
I highly recommend registering on Fred Miranda's forum (http://www.fredmiranda.com). You will sell this there in the "Buy & Sell" forum within the hour.
Enjoy!

how much do you want for the just the body? And please don't say full price :(
Also does this take some kind of memory stick or actual film? Also does it have all the technology that is in the currect EOS (like Digic Processors...etc) or not?

I would say not far off the amount he is asking, the switch is worth nothing. Like $15-$20.

Thanks for the tip, 328iGuy. I can sell you the switch separately. It's $26 bucks brand new. So I guess $18 + shipping of your choice (I figure about 70% of original price)? PM me if you're interested.
On separate note, since you've been very helpful, I'll let you in a little secret. You might already know this, but they have a website that tells you how to program your phone to act as a remote as long as you have an infra-red phone that supports Java. It's a neat feature :)

I wonder what the shipping cost would be to me, in Ottawa Canada?
Unfortunately I don't have a Java based infra red phone :(.....maybe I Should upgrade. :)

Like what 328i said, the remote switch isn't worth that much. I was hoping to sell it for $600. If 328 takes the remote, I guess I'll sell it to you for $582 :). If nobody takes it for $582. I'll probably just post it on eBay with starting bid of a little bit less than $582.
The camera takes CompactFlash Type I and II and Micro Drives, no film. It has all the technology of the current EOS, because it is part of the current EOS line up. It's been out for a year and a half, so the technology is pretty new. Although it's not as new as the higher model of current EOS line. For example, Digic vs Digic II, TTL vs TTL-II, etc.
Here's the official website of Canon USA:
http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=139&modelid=9430
And here's a really good website that has an unbiased review:

I wonder if USPS let me put it in the Economy Flat-Rate Envelope. If they do, then it's only $4.05 + tax.
