Ok..this is the deal. Im selling my old system on ebay and i i just got offered a trade for my amp (kicker kx 850.2) The trade would be my amp for a "ppi 2400.2 and 2 kenwood 12's". Now, i sure as hell know i wouldnt use the kenwood 12's as im saving for 1 10w7 (still thinking about it though). Can i benefit from the "PPI" amp, ive never really read into detail about them, so i dont know their retail valuue/uses.

I'm not sure of that model, or the condition of either of your amps, but Precision Power makes some very high-end stuff. I think it's better than Kicker, but that's just my opinion. Again, I have no idea of the specifics of either of your equipment so I couldn't say if it was a square trade. Good luck.

I know the old PPI very well - my system is currently going together with some original AM amps from the early 90s. There were some bad years for PPI when they were sold off a couple times. They are now owned by DEI, who also make car alarms.
I can't speak from experience about the new amps, but you may want to do some digging on the i-net for that model number. You'll probably snag a couple forums with people who eiter love 'em or hate 'em.
Me, I'm sticking with the old "tried and true".
