I just had some CDT 6.5inch components installed. But I want more midbass out of the front. There isn't really any rattles either.

Will dynomat for the component speakers be worth it?

& if I were to upgrade to the dynomat door kit... will it block out more of the road, engine, and exhaust noise?

It will block out some road noise, but if you arent experiencing door rattling then an entire door kit is probably not worth it. I installed a very small amount of dynamat in the doors of my beater only where the speaker was mounted and the speakers actually played louder and cleaner, so I would give it a shot with as little dyanmat as possible and use the rest of your dynamat on your rear deck (if yah got subs)

Anyone else know if the factory doors are pretty well insulated against road noise? If this is the case, I may just go with a component speaker kit.

it's pretty good against actual road noise, but adding a high powered speaker to your front doors will cause vibrations and rattles...that's where a mass loader (like dynomat) helps.
