Yes it is I have 8 left .. as soon as I get them in my shop I am going to mount a set on my coupe. These are overlaid OEM parts so they will fit just like OEM! :thumbup:

It is an OEM overlay so fitment should not be an issue but you never know! If you are not happy with the product just return it uninstalled and I will refund your money. Return postage is on you unless there is an issue with quality or fitment. I personally inspect every piece before shipment.

I did ask that the shipment get prioritized since the splitters were promised last week. As soon as I get them they will ship out. Seems like I am having a fitment problem because the width of the splitters is longer than the fangs on my bumper.

Now, my concern would be.
1. I have a coupe MTECH.
2. The coupe is a 2000 323Ci.
3. Is there a difference between MTECH, MTECH II, and M-Technik?

These are factory OEM parts layered in CF. I did test fit most of them before shipping them out, but I am not perfect! PM sent, I will take care of this!

I installed mine over the weekend and noticed a little bit of gaps specially on the ends of the splitters. I noticed the holes match with the bolts on the underside of the bumper perfectly so I figured fitment is good, is just not as tight as I thought. I also used double sided tape but it didn't really help to seal the gaps. I will post pix tomorrow.

In any case, I wanna thank VMWERKS for a great product. I'm happy with my splitters! :bow:

After test fitting my set, I realize I'm having the same problems. The gaps are big enough where you can tell from a distance. They look great on your car since its dark, but on my silver you can tell it doesnt fit right.

Has anyone else had fitment problems with the splitters? I'm not sure what to do with them now..

If you want a refund do not install them and ship them back. I will refund you r money. I am VERY suspect about these being overlaid OEM at this point. I put mine on and have the same gap issue but my car is black and you cant really see it.

I actually found the 1/2" screws and thought they were too short so I opted for the 3/4" and they worked fine, better grip.

I am offering a no questions asked 100% refund to anyone that wants to return the splitters. The factory is reviewing their process's and will begin produciton when the bug is worked out. I can either refund or ship out the "new" splitters when they are ready. I do NOT have an ETA on the revised units. I do not care whether the splitters have been installed or not, if you're not 100% satisifed please PM me for a refund.

We all agree that the fitment wasn't great, people that wanted a refund got their money back. Fanatics that wanted to run them while they were reworked are using them, including me. 99% of the time I don't notice the 2mm gap so it is fine with me. Also darker cars will not show the fitment issue as well as lighter ones. Folks who decided to keep theirs will get them swapped out when the reworked units arrive.
The Arquay (sp?) lip costs $800 and fits horribly yet the manufacturer is not reworking them. We are taking the time to address the fitment issue rather than tell customers to go and have a body shop fit them. Out of all the Fanatics here on the board I am the least happy of all. Not only did I lose my shirt I have damaged my credibility with you guys.

The manufacturer's rep in the U.S. is going overseas to help out with the production issues. They have tried a few things with no luck... From the way that the rep talks he has experience with produciton of CF products...

I spoke with him a week or so ago and he indicated that there were still warping issues.. They suggested another mounting hole but that idea was rejected by the rep. He suggested they make one without warps!

vmwerks, you are dealing with people who have no idea what they are doing.

tell them to make a completely new mold out of an OEM clubsport splitter, THEN start producing the parts. also tell them to make sure they are using the right measurements. if their parts keep warping, they are mixing something wrong or not letting it fully cure. they will need to make both a female mold AND male mold, not just a female.

It sucks that there have been production problems, however, Walter has provided excellent customer service. I look forward to the new units. I am still running the first generation and get complements. Currently I solved the fitment issue by running a very small bead of silicon around the edge to fill in the uneven spots.

There was no double charge. I did not batch out my credit card machine until about 3 months later. his is whjy you saw the charge way after the purchase. Please email me proof of 2 seperate payments and I will gladly refund. I have NO record of any Paypal payment only the CC payment. I explained this on the phone, if you really had a double charge why post it here? What do yo hope to gain? Did you contact your CC company yet?

Because I have yet to hear a reply from my fax I sent months ago to your office and the PM's I sent that's why!!! The cover page I included with the faxs contains contact information that is TO be used for responses when the need arises. I gave you the dignacy of not going into detail and boring all the viewers of this thread for just this reason. I hope to gain nothing OBVIOUSLY because I have not disputed this with the CC company and I am still rocking the first set that does not sit well! Second, if I am not mistaken, the charge on the card is incorrect to begin with when the amount was 270.00 after I already placed a down payment of 50.00 correct?? 270.00 + 50.00 = 320.00.

Since, you are obviously having issues with the carbon fiber vendor - (trust me I have been in this industry long enough to know what backorder really means when lines of credit needs to be established - but we won't go there) - I have contacted PayPal and for your information when a cancelled payment is initiated it must be accepted by both parties before the money is retracted. Otherwise, it sits in an idle state (pre-commit; rollback). Therefore, I was double charged because I did not see the monies returned and the funds were still available for you to use. I have since forwarded them our emails and my money is back where it should be...MINUS the 50USD.

I suggest several more months before sending my 50USD back because at the rate the fixed units are going I might request that the full amount be sent in exchange for the defective units.

I apologize for the lack of understanding by both parties and while no one in particular is at fault. Here is my response to your volley.

I really want a set, even if they dont fit perfectly. I have a black 330i zhp so im hoping the fittment issues will be minimal but im willing to risk not being completely satisfied. I have searched these forums and found these splitters satisfied some people and I hope to be one of them VMWerks do still have any? OR better yet, Will you be getting better fitting splitters?
