I just got these install over the weekend and all I can say is, its freaken looks pimp....

I had the old GEN V dde and these new DDE made those look stupid. There is no light box sitting in your engine bay and best of all it comes with a remote setup.

I recommed this to anyone. I'll post pics soon

Don't the Kelvins on the DDE not really corrolate with HID fogs. I mean the fogs are HID, the ddes are not. 8000k fogs will much closer match 6000k fogs than 6000k ddes will. Am I right?

hey there,

im interested in buying these for my vehicle (2000 323i), but i do not have the xenon light package on my car. i am wondering if this would look a bit odd with my stock lighting and DDEs...

Is there a way to turn them off when I have the headlights on? or is there a pic of both the stock lights (non-xenon) and halos turned on?

DDE will look fine if you don't have stock xenons. We also sell the Projector46 that come with the built in DDE if interested. Yes there is an option to hook up the DDE to the way you want it to be. You can creat a switch to turn it off or on. You can also tap it into your fogs to have it turn on when the fogs turn on. Or you can tap it into your ecu where it will turn on once you put your kits into the ignition. There are several ways to hook up the DDe to power them on.

What you do is locate the positive fog lamp wire on the drivers side and tap it into that. Not sure which one is the positive wire, there is only 2 wires for you to test out. So just test it out with one of those circut testers.

The remote kit feature is an optional feature that you can leave out if you don't want it. The remote kit hooks up to your interior lights, so whenever your interior lights are on the DDE are on. So when you unlock the car, the DDE will turn on. And when you lock the car, the DDE will slowly dim out with the interior lighs. As for hooking up the main DDE, you can hook it up to however you want.

I would also be interested in knowing how much extra... postal code T4B 3A1.

Also, I have stock non HID foglights and Id like them to look similar (perhaps 4300K to match stock HID headlights)... how would I do that?

Bump for answers to a couple questions.

Get Xenesis bulbs. They're supposed to match w/ stock 4300k HIDs.

I think I am favoring titaniums over chromiums, but I just wanted to check and make sure that these 'clips' into the headlights no problem?

Oh yeah, and how much longer are these kits going to be around for? I can't afford them this month, but maybe next month. :hmm:

Yes they clip into the headlights with no problem. Not sure how long it will be around for.

How do these look with stock xenons? Do they look bad, anybody have any clear pics?
I'm on the verge of buying these, chromiums may or may not be too thin for me, still trying very hard to decide. Both umnitza and bimmerblvd are AWESOME sponsors with amazing products
EDIT: I'm really trying not to have to change xenon bulbs, just wanna add the DDE's

Tons of people have the stock HID w/ DDE setup. You wouldn't be alone if you just went w/ DDE's.
