Pretty much depends on what type of sound you like! Z6's are very good, focal kv2ps seas lotus, rainbow platinum...DLS iridiums....Also remember the speaker is only as good as the install... if you want to get the best sound outta them your gonna need plenty of sound deadener..attach the mids to the door not the door panel...but of coarse the best place would be kick panels but our cars dont have much room for them if you have a manual....well actually the best place woould be on the dash but that would be rediculous... there is just so much more into the install than one would think and all the little things add up greatly! But PM your price limit and what type of sound your looking for ..like smooth, harsh, laid back,... if your plannin on putting them in the door (off axis)...stuff like that..what type of amp you have and its power...Everything comes into play so just keep that in mind

The Boston Z's were sooooo bright. Way brighter than the MB Quart Premiums and the Z's in no way were even close to the MB Quart Q Series. You can get the MBQ Q Series (QSD-614) from ebay for $450.

Just my opinion though. Listen for yourself.

Those look really nice. If I had money I'd like to try them out. My favorite component set would be Seas Lotus Reference. They run about 700 retail I believe.

dont hear of them much around here but I love, and have not heard better personally than Dynaudio speakers

I have the 240GT set, but am upgrading the esotar tweeter soon, and I cant see me ever upgrading from there, imo there is no upgrade from there!!

my car is a manual, I just have to watch my foot while pressing the clutch.

I still need to learn how to properly use vinyl :dunno:

Post pics of it installed...I have a manual and I am curious about how a kick panel enclosure will work. I'm worried because I actually use the foot rest.

Also, can you take a pic of the back of the kick panel?

Thanks.

thanks, I used a heat gun to make the vinyl more pliable, and a HI temp contact adhesive form select products, it bonds almost instantly

alpine f1 status speakers are the best your money can buy! their 5.25 wil make your car sound like it has 8". you can hear the piano's echos when play with their f1 status cd player.

Not really. They are just really overpriced scanspeak revelators. Midrange is not as revealing as the seas lotus and the bass is not as clean and tight. Seas excels are far better woofers than scanspeak revelators. The revelator tweeter is pretty good though, but isn't that good off axis.

I have the premium MB Q's, I really wanted the Focals, but the installer told me that they would not fit with out modifing the door. BTW, I am very happy with them.
