Anyway, I'm tired of searching this forum for an answer, so, I have a question...

I'd love to install this thing on my car but I'd also like to purchase an IPOD with an ICE LINK adapter and want to know if this is possible.

I mean, I don't want to have this thing play with my radio tuner like my friend does. He chooses a dead radio frequency (like 92.5fm) and he plays it through that. I would hate to have digital quality music being streamed through a radio frequency. I'd like to have this thing use an auxilary port or something that my radio has but I already have a CD Changer that I would hate to get rid of until I get my IPOD (+ICE LINK).

My question is, can I hook this up to directly to my stereo and also have ICE LINK (or my CD changer until I get my IPOD)?

I know you could do this using an OEM (Sirius) adapter from BMW but I'd hate to take this back to the store since it was a gift (even though they gave me a receipt just in case something was wrong with it).

What do you guys think? :dunno:

Steve,

We spoke by phone earlier this afternoon, I'll post so others can be informed.

You will need the trunk interface kit for the ice>Link PLis and the BMW AUX kit to see the Sirius kit. Keep in mind that the BMW Sirius retains the steering wheel control and is not too much more in pricing (minus installation).

OEM Sirius will also display the ID3v2 text on the screen.
