Anyone know if we can install pillar gauges on our car or will it interfere with the pillar airbag?

as long as the guage is below where the airbag is on the pillar you'll be fine. OR if you disable the airbag in the pillar.

if you don't disable AND have the guage on the pillar where the airbag is you risk a chance of the guage flying at you if the airbag enables in a car accident.

Jason, you should mount your gauges in a less conspicuous location. Perhaps inside the ashtray or flush mount inside the AC vent.

in my opinion, putting them in the ashtray (or where you had them) renders them useless cause you really can't see them while driving.

Inside the AC vent is an idea, but i kinda need my ac vents!

Pillar mounted gauges are at eye level - most useful.

Another idea is putting them on the steering wheel column - anyone have the link to that mount?

This was where I used to mount the greddy gauges. Now replaced by the MDACs. It's good to have gauges on the eye-level. Then again, more useful on the tracks. :P

agreed, which is why i think a pillar mount is the most efficient place for them. BUT definately NOT if its gunna affect the airbag!

Thats true Jason. I just dont like the look of Apillar gauges for some reason. Perhaps look into getting some memory gauges? Look into DEFI and SPA.

Pillar gauges wont work. ICS did them on an e46 vert (doesn't have pillar airbags). Wonder if anyone makes a center pod a la subaru WRX?
